I am trying to figure out Chapin's survival decklist he played at the last gp I would be glad if anyone would help me out filling the holes I have, and check if the manabase is correct, I figured it out by looking at the deck tech video posted on sideboard; or if anyone has the exact decklist I would be glad to have it, thank you.

haha. I did just what you did. Watched that video probably 10 times. And then did some narrowing using mws and looking at a bunch of black creatures.

It was definitely not a shriekmaw.
Shriekmaw would be horrible in this deck. There would be very few ways for it to be useful. On aether vial you would have to wait 5 turns and make your vial useless for other creatures, or mainphase 2 mana to not even stick a blocker. |

| This deck is pretty solid. You have to watch the deck tech to see how it interacts. The loyal retainers is used to pop in Iona or emrakul with the shuffle on the stack. He says he uses the shamans because your not always going to get a survival within the first few turns, so having a slower survival can be enough to win especially if you can slow your opponent down. |
