Heres one deck that ive been testing around, and its been winning quite a bit.

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
2 [WWK] Creeping Tar Pit
5 [5E] Forest (2)
4 [EUL] Island (3)
4 [PT] Mountain (3)
4 [US] Plains (3)
3 [WWK] Raging Ravine
3 [7E] Swamp (3)

// Creatures
3 [4E] Birds of Paradise
4 [ARB] Bloodbraid Elf
3 [ROE] Wall of Omens

// Spells
2 [ALA] Cruel Ultimatum
3 [CFX] Exploding Borders
4 [IN] Harrow
2 [WWK] Jace, the Mind Sculptor
2 [ARB] Lavalanche
2 [R] Lightning Bolt
2 [ARB] Maelstrom Pulse
2 [CFX] Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
2 [GTW] Path to Exile
1 [ZEN] Sorin Markov
3 [ROE] Prophetic Prism

// Sideboard
SB: 2 [M10] Celestial Purge
SB: 4 [WWK] Kor Firewalker
SB: 3 [ZEN] Luminarch Ascension
SB: 3 [ARB] Thought Hemorrhage
SB: 3 [ZEN] Day of Judgment

The way i see it, it has an answer to most things in the meta in the SB, as well as having a stablish mana base for a 5-colour deck.

Any constructive criticism would be welcome.

Those BBE cascades seem pretty bad. Wall, Bird, Harrow, Prism.

Also, your kill is...Planeswalkers? Some of the 5 manlands?

I tested this with cobras, and it doesnt do so well in the 5 colours, green mainly being to get the other colours. Jace turns out to be a lot more useful being able to give me the extra draws to get all those extra colours, and to get to my kill-cards.

It looks like green is the most prevalent color in your deck so I don't quite understand, but goodluck with the deck.

Thanks for the support, and really, the green isnt hugely important, not as much as sau black is needed in the deck. Often harrow gets rid of the forest that i use to cast it.

I think the Harrow + Exploding Borders and basic land strategy is weaker than one with more multi-coloured nonbasics. For example, you need way more than 7 lands in order to play a Cruel Ultimatum.

4 Arcane Sanctum, 4 Crumbling Necropolis and 4 Savage Lands should be the core of your manabase (depending on card choices of course), supported by 1-2 basics and the corresponding fetches, as well as a few Glacial Fortress & friends.

4 Prophetic Prism is a must.

2 Nicol Bolas is one too many.

Such a manabase would free up to 10 card slots (birds, borders, harrow).
