Wizards may be making a new format called Over-Extended. So far it will be Mercadian block onward with no rotations, although that might change.

What kind of decks do you think will be popular(assuming no bannings)?

What cards do you think will or should be banned?

they will probably look back at past bannings. such as in the "original" extended format where cards like dark ritual were banned. that is the one card that i imagine will get the axe.

dark rit proly not, however i believe we can see right off the bat top, vial, and clamp getting the ax. Disciple of the vault is another possibility.

If we assume, that nothing will be banned, I believe Elves will be a strong archetype.

Skullclamp + Glimpse as Draw Engines seem very broken.

And Vial could be good in the Deck as well.

If we assume nothing will be banned, then Affinity would dominate a large part of the format :/

I'm thinking Aether Vial and Skullclamp for sure, then probably Diciple of the Vault, Sensei's Divining Top, Dark Ritual/Mind's Desire and probably something from dredge (like Bridge from Below).

The only cards in serious need of banning are Skullclamp and Mind's Desire.
