Alright it pisses me off when someone goes into a tournament with the knowledge they cant host and that they don't have hamachi... I HATE losing first round in flips... I HATE IT! It's NOT fun. M-L is supposed to be fun, right? There is no fun in flips. I have 2 requests for M-L:
1. How come only standard gets appr tournaments?!!?!? That's biased! I like t2, make more MWS tournaments for standard.
2. I believe you shouldn't be able to enter a appr trial if you can't host and don't have hamachi.
I have 2 requests for those non-hosters:
1. Get hamachi.
2. Get MWS.
Can't? Get a new computer!! Stop running on Windows 98, its 7-8 years later, buddy.
But seriously, how come standard gets all the apprentice tournaments and T1.5, t1, t1.x all get frickin MWS all the time?!?!?!
It's TOO much! I like having fun, not flipping a coin. |

ya know some people can't play the masters cause their only MWS, yet do you see them bitching?
So you lost to flips? Boo Fucking hoo, last night I got jipped by the most two arguementally fucked up rules this league goes by:
Errors and the fucking Time limit.
Yea, same match too....
but once again, I'm not bitching like a baby. |

| Well, for some of us (like me), we have to have Administrative status on our computers to be able to download/access/run Hamachi and MWS, and don't have Admin. rights. I have downloaded MWS many of times, but for some reason it won't let me unzip it (it gives me an "access denied" message). What do you suppose for this? |

I am assuming you meant that as some kind of smart remark/insult. So, to reply to your pathetic attempt: Im telling my mommy and daddy on you!
On another note, the computer I use to play m-l on isn't even mine. It is a friends computer, and I am happy enough that they have let me download apprentice and mIRC on their computer so I can play. Im not going to download any excess programs to take up space on the hard drive just because you want to rant and complain about something so trivial. |

I'm 100% with Elvish God, though you will not find a single bitching in this post.
The big problem with appretice is that he doesn't have public server like MWS, so if someone can't host, they flip.
Flip is the worst thing that can happen to a m-l player because they can be beated by a newcomer that don't even have the experience of a long time m-l player. Yes, it can happen that a noob or a newcomer beat an experienced player because he can't have good hand or the newcomer is like the new kid on the block, but take the case of the noob. The definition of a noob is a player that new to magic and he think that is deck is the best in the tournament while is deck compose of 4 sorrow path and he think its good. That what a noob is and if he win by a flip, he will keep telling that he win and that he deserve to win because the flip got in is favor.
That why i'm with ElvishGod that you shouldn't be able to enter if you can't host or don't have hamachi.
But i think some person over here will not be with my opinion, for you: keep saying that everybody telling something that doesn't make him happy is crying, we will say the same thing to you if you lose in a flip.
For the second reason of this post: yes, m-l is lacking of standard MWS minis but, as you know it, its the extended season, so maybe when the standard season start, they will replace the extended, T1, and t1.5 MWS mini bt standard one.
I'll would like to know you opinion about this. |

my opinion is, you all welcome to pass the judge test and create as many t2 mws minis as you want. i as a judge will never create a mws deck because its a bad program with a very bad shuffeler, and i dont wanna waste my time playing with or against mana floods.
abous noobs who beat you at flips and brag about it, who the hell cares? |

As of who cares about noob who brag they winned because of the flip, you will obv cares when you hear one someday.
Yes, i can admit MWS got a bad shuffler, but so appr is, there shuffler is both random.
Yes, i can understand that judges dont make t2 tourney because its the extended season, but when the t2 season will begin, you will definately care about making t2 tourney for MWS. If not, well you obv hears some cry (as you say). |

OH NO! A "noob" bragging about winning a mini! OMG, that is such a big f***ing deal! So....the "noob" wins the mini by flips, and your mad because why? Its not like his rating goes up, or yours go down.
Heck, the worst that would possibly happen is netdeckers would check the reports, see his deck won, copy it, and complain about why they lost and how its such a crappy deck, and I don't even see that as a bad thing. |

Your entire point there is based on the concept that all expirenced players lose to flips and are better then the average rookie. Which is totally not true.
First off flips is impartial, you can't expect that only "noobs" win at it.
Secondly, not all expirenced players are better noobs, I mean look at ElvishGod, hes living prrof that some expirenced players just plain suck.

If you look closely to what i said, i dint tell anywhere that only noob win, both player have equal chance of winning.
You have no proof that EG is an experienced sucker.

You know what I just did, i brought an unfair point to the table, so ops can see it and say what they thing of it.I respect what you did for this league, but do you know what you got in return of fiding hamachi? A trip to fire land.

I agree for the most part with indie...
I am completely against the idea of making either Hamachi or MWS mandatory for those who cannot host...
Take for example, me, I don't play as much here anymore as I used to, and quite recently I upgraded my computer and therefore I cannot host games anymore. And being that I'm not as active, I wouldn't take to kindly to the fact that I'd have to download a program that I'm rarely going to use.

Apprentice is better at being random...
But my point is I don't want to be forced to download programs just to play Magic and satisfy some random.
And it's not like getting to Round 2 is that big of deal, there's always casual and league games, you're taking this too seriously.. |
