I lost to Simone in UWR mirror the round before his bye. IMO, the only tough matchup for UWR is the mirror. Whoever gets Jace online first and draws better usually wins.

Question I tried treasure hunt and it was interesting, is it still worth taking over MotD?

Yes, by far.

Why exactly does UWr beat Jund all day long? Jund got a huge card against the shroud creatures to which it just scooped before: Basilisk Collar! I also doubt that Jund can't handle Planewalkers and even if Jace is very good, it won't beat them alone.

because Jace, the Mind Sculptor can bounce Bloodbraid Elf.

Wait... that's a bad play...

its definitely hard for jund to beat uwr but i dont think its as lopsided as you think, its probably 60/40 or slightly more favourable for uwr depending whos on the play or draw

Also if someone wants to mention Spreading Seas, it is no problem to get hit by one of these, only two or more are a serious problem for the Jund decks. I agree that with the opinion that it is a 35:65-50:50 matchup depending on the version.

The weakness of UWr is the first few turns, while they establish their mana base. If Jund drops Putrid Leach turn 2, Jund has a much higher chance of winning. I agree with gypsy though, the match up is like 60/40 in favor of UWr. I love how at my local card shop 4 people play UWr but none of them have won an FNM with it because they always draw at least 1 round.
