I dont know about anyone else, but this game has cost me in the upwards of thousands (I'm sure) of dollars to stay on top of all the sets and awesome cards that are passing through trade binders, over the course of many years. My parents are saying that I've wasted so much money on this useless piece of crap of a game. Now, my retort was, "but you can make tons of money off of this game!" And they would reply, "THEN SHOW IT TO US!"

Now I realize that this game is meant to entertain, but doesnt anyone else think, besides me, that we could be doing so much more than sitting around on our asses playing cards, spending uber amounts of money on something that will have ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFIT on our futures? Sure, as teenagers we can afford to do this kind of crazy wasting and spending on useless shit, but I see adults playing this game...and they actually look like pieces of shit. You know why? Because after every paycheck, they go to the nearest card store and spend the whole damn thing on Magic or D&D or VS System or any other card game. I have since quit playing Magic at card stores and am instead putting the money towards video gaming (a much better hobby, imo). You might be thinking to yourself, "well, video gaming is just as bad a hobby!" And I'm saying that you're wrong, why? You dont spend 80$ when the newest set comes out and then another 100$ buying boosters just to get that one Kokusho or Jitte or w/e it is you want to get. You might spend 50$ on one game that could last you months or spend 20$ getting it used or when it comes out as, for example, one of Playstations Greatest Hits. I'm probably not changing anyone's minds and I'm definetly not trying to put the site out of buisness. I'm just saying that I'm sick of throwing money away on some damn game that WILL, let me say that again, WILL...die out in due time. And then where will we all be? Right now, my thousands of dollars of cards (not what their worth, what I spent on them) are sitting under my bed collecting dust. Who knows, someday I'll probably burn them and just move on because God knows I wont have time for them when I'm older and when I'll actually HAVE a life (no disrespect to anyone reading this).

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make here is........is....!? Hmm, you know, I'm not really sure what my point is. I guess I just needed to get that out of my system, thx for letting me confide in you Magic-League!!!
