How to save your sealed deck and fix the most common error on MWS.
After you finish building your deck on the site and click the submit button,
you should see a page with your decklist and its security numbers.
To save your deck, on the bottom of your decklist that says something
like "Right click and select save as... to save as an apprentice file."
As the link suggest, right click on it and select
save as... and save it as a .dec file.
As an alternative, you can just normal click on the link, it will open your decklist there.
Go to file -> Save page as... and save it as a .dec file.
Open the file on MWS and check the security code.
The most common issue are missing cards.
You know you have missing cards when, on the box that appear at
the time you load the deck, see something like [???] <card name>.
That means <card name> is missing, and most likely is because the name of
the card on the file and on your masterbase are not the same.
To solve this, do this:
If the card is a split card, just add it manually to the deck, where is belongs, either main or sideboard
Otherwise, do this:
1.- Copy the name that appears after the [???].
2.- On your up/left side on MWS, search the missing card, and select it.
3.- Go to Edit -> Edit card information.
4.- Overwrite the name that appear with the name you copies on step 1, and click ok.
5.- Manually add the appropiate number of that card to your main/sideboard.
6.- Repeat for each missing card.
7.- Check your security code, if everything went well it should match now.
8.- Select any card on your up/left side of MWS, and go File -> Save deck/library.
If an error appears when trying to load the deck, remove those added cards, restart
mws, and add them again. Click yes on every box that ask you to save something.

addendum about split cards:
#1
if you get a split card, MWS will give an error. just add the card again from your library to your deck or sideboard and save the deck.
#2
in rare cases, this does not work. if this method does not, edit the split card to say Pain//Suffering rather than Pain/Suffering which is the default. there are NO SPACES here and you don't copy the way the error comes up.
Remember, ALWAYS try #1 FIRST then #2. #2 is only to be used if you can't get it to work with #1. |

on some font-settings (skandinavic, slavic, ...) codes are sometimes messed up. change windows to english language and it will work...
having 2 cards that start with W and V in your deck/sb can mess up the security code. The reason for that is unknown. |
