the counters were of little to no help. when i would counter a spell or keep mana open to do so i was just preventing myself from making plays. when i played recklessly to get tron was seemingly when i could win but i never had the two green to play tooth and nail.
i am not so sure i would need cop red but it would've helped a chalice set to 2 would've done me well or even set to 1.
i also like the idea of having the slaver lock in there for a worst case scenerio kinda deal.

where is your one off of life from the loam so you can gifts up tron lands and get them defiitely:/ and in the same way you need a ` off of mindslaver and a 1 off of academy ruins so that you can also gifts for that lock :/ and you definitely need repeals and remands,, and finks should be in side board not main
also signets are great accel coupled with chromes and when using those you can add thirst for knowledge for great draw.. thats my input

Yeah I didn't even think of Chalice, that could be really good vs burn. And given lack of blue specific mana, I'm willing to let the drowses go. and roots for cliques.

The Loam for the gifts is a very nice idea as well. I've never understood the appeal of remand and repeal when the counter is just temporary(card draw not withstanding, unless it's the whole point). Though getting ride of Lage is great, though none of my opponents play that(yet?).

I mean, would replacing leads and condescends with repeals and remands be stronger? Just seems so... temporary.

I didn't really want to go the slaver-academy route, but if it's neccessary to make the whole thing work than perhaps. More and more Im thinking the Iona Servant pair arent neccessary, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Played against affinity won the first game rather easy with toothing for the painter Iona combo which I am fond of and brought my attention to your deck. second two games I lost both times to double shrapnel blast. I will try and play more conservatively from now on against affinity. Funny that tooth was originally built to beat affinity and I lost to it. Sad day in the book of T&N.

Played another set vs a red deck he got second turn magus of the moon first game second game 1st turn blood moon some how I won the second game the third game he kept a no land hand and quit when not drawing any lands in 4 turns (I want to know what he had to keep that bad hand). I am starting to hate this deck idea. I instead am going to build a UW control tron.
Maybe my list for the tooth deck was horrible but I'll post it for you anyways.

i would suggest throwing a Sky Hussar just incase u draw the pestermite or vice-versa. another combo is Mephodross Vampire / Triskelion (which i dont think is amazing however it was used in the tooth and nail deck that was worthy of mention at PT austin... and its hard to argue with sucsess)

and on another note, i comented on ur Loam build but forgot to mention, if u do keep bloodbraid in there dont forget that if u cascade into Boom/Bust... you can play bust.

As long as you entwine the Tooth, having Pestermite in hand shouldn't matter, should it? I actually just posted another Tooth idea I had last night on the mtgsalvation forums that i think would blow this one out of the water. Check out "Megatooth" in their Extended Decks for Critique section.

Regarding the Aggro Loam post, wow I was pretty sure the converted mana cost was both costs combined, but I just looked it up and, lo and behold, I was wrong! Wow, that's incredible. makes me start wondering if some really really nasty scepter decks could be made abusing this lol Could you imagine destroying all lands every turn (assuming you have non land mana sources)? lol
