|
|
With all the different BGW decks being posted, I figured I might as well post my list:)
// Lands
3 [M10] Terramorphic Expanse
5 [UNH] Forest
3 [UNH] Swamp
4 [UNH] Plains
4 [ZEN] Verdant Catacombs
4 [ZEN] Marsh Flats
// Creatures
4 [CFX] Knight of the Reliquary
4 [M10] Baneslayer Angel
4 [ZEN] Ob Nixilis, the Fallen
4 [ZEN] Steppe Lynx
4 [M10] Birds of Paradise
// Spells
4 [ZEN] Harrow
3 [ARB] Maelstrom Pulse
3 [ZEN] Day of Judgment
4 [CFX] Path to Exile
3 [ZEN] Grim Discovery
// Sideboard
SB: 1 [ARB] Maelstrom Pulse
SB: 1 [ZEN] Day of Judgment
SB: 4 [M10] Great Sable Stag
SB: 4 [M10] Celestial Purge
SB: 2 [ZEN] Vines of Vastwood
SB: 3 [ARB] Identity Crisis
Most of the decks in the area are either Jund or judging by what I've seen people madly trading for, Elves of some variety. Though I haven't done much testing against Elves, the deck has been more and more successful against Jund recently.
Opinions, suggested changes, etc are all welcome.

| How is Steppe Lynx any better than Putrid Leech in here? I can see it getting some explosive starts, but it looks like it would be less consistent. Putrid Leech just needs a life total to get big. |

| Isn't the deck a little bit slow? |

jonproject: because of Harrows and fetch lands, Lynx is just a better choice for getting damage through and winning faster, and doesn't cost life in multiples.
thelemys: Not really, as long as you don't keep a terrible hand, you should be able to pull of turn 4-6 wins pretty consistently.
SugarShark: No comment. Having birds and wrath in one deck is fine.

| What sort of IDIOT would just cast wrath if it wouldn't provide advantage? Ernham-Geddon runs Wraths. It has elves, birds AND Ernham Djinns. And it WRATHS. And Geddons. |

you'll need to post a decklist of this ernamarmageddon w/wrath to my best recollection the only decks using wrath were millstone decks [and later on outpost decks]
serrated arrows was THE wrath |

I think Hierarch is better than Birds in this... The black is pretty easily gettable since all of your fetches get black, etc. |
