Ok, so I've been testing around with the R/W/U control deck that Corey Lege talked about at the PT last weekend, and I have a question about Rite of Replication and how it works. Namely, its interaction with creatures with CITP abilities like Bogardan Hellkite, or if I use it to copy Broodmate Dragon or something like that. If I name Hellkite as the copied creature, will the token that Rite creates have the "deals 5 damage" ability like the original, or no? Same thing with Broodmate, will my copy make a token? I just want to be sure I have this right so when I play this deck at FNM this week I won't be caught up in any rules issues. Thanks!

Sure they will. The token is a copy of the target creature. By being a copy, it has the same abilities as the original, including any "enters the battlefield" abilities.

what about with Pyromancer's Ascension? will the copy auto-pay the kicker or can you pay it seperately?

The copy will include all additional costs paid with the original (aka you get an asston of tokens cheap)
