Harrow is definitely a better card for this deck. I'm curious as to whether or not Gigantiform is any good in here... How has Vines of Vastwood been? and no Jace Beleren?

Gigantiform on scute mob is nice, Vines helps alot against PTE / Burn to protect my creatures (especially Roil and Scute Mob when it gets big).

Vedalken Heretic > Jace in this deck becuz I don't like tapping out with counters in hand.

2-1 vs (Bant Charm / Stoic Angel / DoJ / Mind Spring / Knight of Orchid / Negate)

2-0 vs (Scute mob / Garruk / Time Warp / Twincast / Lotus Cobra)

2-1 vs Vampires (He died from a Gigantiform Scute Mob both games)

2-0 vs (Goblin Assault / Luminarch Ascension / Alot of burn / Earthquake / DoJ / Baneslayer Angel / Ajani Vengeant)

What's the name of these decks ?

I'll test more and update.

No offense to you.

No offense to your deck.

But decks like this winnings games makes me weep for the state of standard magic the gathering.

SJM I have yet to see you make a relevant, helpful post. This deck is probably not viable as of yet, but that is simply because there is an extreme lacking of good control cards, especially in blue, at the moment that would make sticking in two colors a handicap to your deck. If you want to go control, add white for removal and threats. The mana is easy to put together with Seaside Citadels and M10 Lands, and you have Misty Rainforest on top of it.

I understand that you want to build an original deck, but the early forms of a standard season kind of prevent that, due to a lacking of cards to choose from. = \ This doesn't mean we don't have a chance for Wizards to print something good in the next two thirds of the Zendikar, it just means you might be at loss for the time being.

8 counters plus no removal doesn't equal control

seems like you pray they have no removal, and no threats, and you aren't tapped out.

Clearly you haven't tested the deck because you would know that it never taps out after turn 2 during my turn.

Whenever I play Gigantiform, I have at least 2 spells in my hand to protect my creature.

Scute mob doesn't see play until I have 5 lands, and when I do play it, I'll have spells to back it up.
