I was wondering if anyone had found a realistic way of using Sovereign's second ability as pressure, whilst still having a control or possibly agro variation with him in the deck, having the second ability as an alt win con.

Here is my idea (It is based on what I can afford/acquire)

Planeswalker
2x Jace Beleren

Creatures
2x Battlegrace Angel
3x Felidar Sovereign
2x Wall of Reverence
3x Wall of Denial
3x Deft Duelist
1x Sphinx of Jwar Isle
3x Soul Warden

Spells
2x Negate
4x Path to Exile
4x Offering to Asha

Enchantments
4x Sunspring Expedition
4x Oblivion Ring

Land
4x Terramorphic Expanse
11x Plains
8x Island

Sideboard (This is not set in stone, it was just some ideas.)
4x Celestial Purge
3x Negate
2x Esscence Scatter
4x Pitfall Trap

Another guy posted a deck trying to do much the same thing. Look for it, I don't remember the thread's title.

You need black for vampire death hawk etherwought page and you also need celestial mantle and eternity vessel.
