If I 'cascade' into a spell with Kicker, do I have the opportunity to pay it?

yes. additional costs may/must be paid for spells when you cascade into them
i.e. reveal wren's run vanquisher from bloodbraid elf cascade... you must reveal an elf card or pay an additional 3 to paly the vanquisher.

likewise, you could kick it, or pay an additional 1 if sphere of resistance is in play.
