Scenario; Opponent and I are both at 1 life, I attack with my 5/5 trampler. He blocks with Swans of Bryn Argoll (4/3 prevent all damage done to swans, opponent draws a card for each damage prevented this way), and also has out underworld dreams(draw a card take 1 damage). Does he die first do to trample damage, or do I die first do to prevention effect and drawing?
thanks for the help folks!!!

The triggered abilities from Underworld Dreams will never even be put on the stack, because he dies before that happens from the trample damage.

well, I'm not sure if the dreams triggers aren't put on the stack, put they surely won't resolve because the game will end when state-based effects are checked (when a player has priority). so yeah, the trampler does the job.

Well damage is dealt and he is dead before swans can prevent damage to itself. ^^

No. This is incorrect. Replacement effect do not use the stack and are applied immediately. You draw the cards at the same time as the damage is dealt to your opponent.

lets see, 5/5 deals 3 to swan and 2 to your opp, damage to swans is prevented and underworld ability tiggs, goes on the stack, and the game ends before you gain priority (check for state base effects)

Again, although it matters little, the triggered abilities never reach the stack. SBA's are checked before triggered abilities are put on the stack.
