turn to mist and exile question

I tap Mangara of Corondor to exile it and permanant from the game, can I turn to mist him as a responce and only exile another target permanent? or what happens in that stack?

You can do what you want to. You tap Mangara, its ability goes on the stack, and in response you Mist it. It comes back as a completely new permanent, and then its ability resolves.

Tap: Exile Mangara of Corondor and target permanent.

This is the oracle text of Mangara of Corondor. Note that the removing of Mangara is behind the ":".

Tap, Exile Mangara of Corondor: Exile target permanent.

If it was like this you, wouldn't be able to use Turn to Mist to save the Mangara. Since you would have to Exile the Mangara before the ability goes onto the stack.
