| As soon as I saw Planar Cleansing I knew that wrath was out. It doesn't effect me at all, most decks I play are creature based and I don't even fear wrath really anymore. Its a good change for the current environment, Wrath I am sure will be back in 2011 or some other set in the future. |

Hallowed burial is great too, then there are still cards like austere command, martial coup and the new planar cleansing in the white section.
Dont forget about firespout either, its not cascadeable but still pretty damn good. |

| Actually Birds is generally considered quite a good card. Jump, that's terrible, but a card like Birds is Very playable, although not as splashy as a WoG |

| it was my understanding when WOTC planned the 2010 core set that there was a posibility of 2 core sets being standard legal......maybe no wrath or damnation is a sign of this being possible after all...... |

did you just say they know what they are doing?
Check the new rules and come back |

| the new rules are fine trust me once you get used to it its no big deal, i thought they were bad also but after playing with them the rules are perfectly fine and dont change anything other than making some cards bad and others good |

| Although we might not have wrath, there is still martial coup, sourglass, hallowed burial. there is also infest jund charm vallout pryoclasm earthquake evacuation, while all of these are sub-par to wrath of god i think we could make due. |

umm, green didnt even get played that summer becuase of the impact green took. White contol is dead without WoG. I use WoG in any control take that can afford it. lots of the time instant steam blast or infest isnt big enough. 3 damage is good, but wolly thoctar still kills me. i hope the mtgsalvation spoiler is a lie. |

I would also like to point out, that it would seem Evacuation is also ogne bye bye. AS far as I can tell... I was really hoping to get the 2 color control rolling, but without WoG, Damnation or even Evac... ... *singel tear*
And for all those people talking about "creature deck this" and "creature deck that," the point for me is having the option to play something different. WoG (and otherwise damnation) is a staple. A big frigging holds a houses walls together staple, in the sideboard or not, of any control deck that uses white (or black for damnation)... the thought of people having MORE reason to play Jund Aggro, or jund Ramp,. or Jund Rock... makes me vomit in my mouth a little.
IMO its a kick in the @$$ to "all the rest of us."
My consolation and hope is that Wog (like BoP in Rav) will be in Zendicar.
I should note, i will still be playing magic. Its only for a time. |

Why you want to play a WoG when you got a 5 cc with:
First strike
Lifelink
Fly
Pro demon
Pro dragon
5/5
Op... ._. a deck killer ._. How to manage vs it? |

QFT.
Trolling aside, i find M10 to be a big disappointment cardwise, on top of the already awful rules changes. |
