Taking in mind the feedback that I received on the last draft I posted here (and how horribly, looking back on it, that I did), I figured it'd be about time to give it another go.

Feedback, of course, is much welcomed.

- ALA -

P1P1:

Ooze Garden
Esper Charm
Scourge Devil
Kiss of the Amesha
Agony Warp
Coma Veil
Branching Bolt <--
Welkin Guide
Naturalize
Skeletal Kathari
Lightning Talons
Shore Snapper
Onyx Goblet
Cathartic Adept
Plains

The main three picks I see out of this pack are the Esper Charm, Agony Warp, and Branching Bolt. The charm seems like the least favorable pick out of the three (given the other two being creature removal), and is the least flexible. Branching Bolt seems slightly better than the Agony Warp, though, seeing as I can get a possible two-for-one.

P1P2:

Sunseed Nurturer
Tidehollow Sculler
Demon's Herald
Shadowfeed
Goblin Deathraiders
Yoked Plowbeast
Gustrider Exuberant
Hissing Iguanar <---
Onyx Goblet
Obelisk of Esper
Steward of Valeron
Bloodthorn Taunter
Etherium Sculptor
Plains

Another strong pick in the same colors. Seems I'll probably go Naya or Jund.

P1P3:

Exuberant Firestoker
Sigiled Paladin
Gustrider Exuberant
Magma Spray <---
Jungle Weaver
Druid of the Anima
Cylian Elf
Waveskimmer Aven
Etherium Sculptor
Dragon Fodder
Rip-clan Crasher
Cloudheath Drake
Plains

More removal in the same color, seems right to me.

P1P4:

Jungle Shrine <---
Rockcaster Platoon
Filigree Sages
Agony Warp
Marble Chalice
Welkin Guide
Cancel
Volcanic Submersion
Waveskimmer Aven
Obelisk of Jund
Dragon Fodder
Mountain

I was a little torn on this pack. I could've taken the Agony Warp, but that'd definitely solidify me in either Jund or Grixis w/ a fourth splash. Dragon Fodder isn't THAT good, but it's alright I suppose. The mana fixing seemed best to me, though, since it'd either let me splash a fourth if I went Jund instead of Naya, or a solid Naya land drop.

P1P5:

Grixis Battlemage
Exuberant Firestoker <---
Gustrider Exuberant
Deathgreeter
Obelisk of Bant
Cancel
Outrider of Jhess
Dispeller's Capsule
Dregscape Zombie
Shore Snapper
Mountain

Pack doesn't seem that good; took the Firestoker on the premise that if I got the beef and went Naya, I could make use of him and his ramp. Would Dregscape Zombie have been the better fit and gone Jund?

P1P6:

Rockcaster Platoon <---
Swerve
Gustrider Exuberant
Marble Chalice
Cancel
Volcanic Submersion
Naturalize
Onyx Goblet
Excommunicate
Forest

Since I'm pretty sure I'm going Naya now, I decided to grab the beef that would take out flying armies instead of the pseudo-removal with Excommunicate. Not sure on this pick; maybe the removal would've been better.

P1P7:

Gustrider Exuberant
Relic of Progenitus
Etherium Sculptor
Viashino Skeleton
Bant Panorama
Vectis Silencers
Naya Panorama <---
Cathartic Adept
Forest

Fixing seems good.

P1P8:

Angelic Benediction <---
Deathgreeter
Coma Veil
Waveskimmer Aven
Spell Snip
Call to Heel
Angelsong
Swamp

Not really enthusiastic about the pack, but I might be able to play my pick.

P1P9:

Ooze Garden
Coma Veil
Naturalize <---
Lightning Talons
Onyx Goblet
Cathartic Adept
Plains

Card for the sideboard against Esper and troublesome enchantments.

P1P10:

Sunseed Nurturer <---
Demon's Herald
Gustrider Exuberant
Bloodthorn Taunter
Etherium Sculptor
Plains

I didn't know what to pick here between Bloodthorn and Sunseed; I mainly picked the latter for its ramping possibility into things like the Rockcaster I picked earlier, among other things I could get later on.

P1P11:

Gustrider Exuberant
Waveskimmer Aven <---
Etherium Sculptor
Cloudheath Drake
Plains

Hate-draft.

P1P12:

Filigree Sages <---
Marble Chalice
Cancel
Mountain

P1P13:

Gustrider Exuberant
Outrider of Jhess <---
Mountain

P1P14:

Marble Chalice <---
Forest

P1P15:

Forest

- CON -

P2P1:

Martial Coup <---
Voices from the Void
Fusion Elemental
Gluttonous Slime
Worldly Counsel
Aven Trailblazer
Parasitic Strix
Darklit Gargoyle
Wild Leotau
Dark Temper
Nacatl Savage
Vedalken Outlander
Rupture Spire
Brackwater Elemental
Island

I really hate seeing the Dark Temper or Wild Leotau pass around, but Martial Coup is, well...Martial Coup.

P2P2:

Child of Alara
Filigree Fracture
Sludge Strider
Hellspark Elemental
Infectious Horror
Scattershot Archer
Valeron Outlander
Rhox Meditant
Vedalken Outlander
Tukatongue Thallid
Pestilent Kathari
Exploding Borders <---
Wandering Goblins
Swamp

Mana fixing, ramp, and burn. I'm concerned if the correct pick in this pack was possibly the Scattershot or Rhox, though.

P2P3:

Vagrant Plowbeasts
Ancient Ziggurat
Canyon Minotaur
Scattershot Archer
Constricting Tendrils
Rhox Meditant
Wild Leotau <---
Asha's Favor
Tukatongue Thallid
Pestilent Kathari
Quenchable Fire
Absorb Vis
Plains

Big beef for four mana seems better than slightly bigger beef for seven.

P2P4:

Filigree Fracture
Countersquall
Skyward Eye Prophets
Suicidal Charge
Mana Cylix
Tukatongue Thallid
Quenchable Fire
Toxic Iguanar
Zombie Outlander
Darklit Gargoyle
Kranioceros <---
Island

More beef seems good?

P2P5:

Knotvine Mystic <---
Unstable Frontier
Skyward Eye Prophets
Canyon Minotaur
Valiant Guard
Valeron Outlander
Wretched Banquet
Vedalken Outlander
Asha's Favor
Pestilent Kathari
Mountain

Super mana excel seems good?

P2P6:

Gluttonous Slime
Bone Saw
Court Homunculus
Scattershot Archer <---
Sedraxis Alchemist
Rhox Bodyguard
Vedalken Outlander
Lapse of Certainty
Faerie Mechanist
Plains

The early drops are needed right now, and Scattershot will help fend off flying X/1's like Aven Squires and Thopter Foundry tokens.

P2P7:

Countersquall
Court Homunculus
Zombie Outlander
Rhox Bodyguard
Goblin Outlander
Kranioceros <---
Maniacal Rage
Quenchable Fire
Plains

More beef.

P2P8:

Font of Mythos
Sylvan Bounty <---
Canyon Minotaur
Worldly Counsel
Rotting Rats
Asha's Favor
Pestilent Kathari
Mountain

Fixing...should be all I need now for that.

P2P9:

Fusion Elemental
Worldly Counsel
Darklit Gargoyle
Nacatl Savage <---
Vedalken Outlander
Brackwater Elemental
Island

Two drop anti-artifact. Nothing else for me here.

P2P10:

Infectious Horror
Scattershot Archer <---
Vedalken Outlander
Tukatongue Thallid
Wandering Goblins
Swamp

I don't have the domain to effectively use Wandering Goblins, and Scattershot will round out my flying defense.

P2P11:

Canyon Minotaur <---
Asha's Favor
Tukatongue Thallid
Quenchable Fire
Plains

Don't have a lot of four drops, and semi-beefy creatures are always nice.

P2P12:

Suicidal Charge
Mana Cylix
Quenchable Fire <---
Island

P2P13:

Valiant Guard <---
Asha's Favor
Mountain

P2P14:

Lapse of Certainty <---
Plains

P2P15:

Plains

- ARB -

P3P1:

Sages of the Anima
Morbid Bloom
Illusory Demon
Skyclaw Thrash
Winged Coatl
Deny Reality
Soul Manipulation
Etherium Abomination
Singe-Mind Ogre
Grizzled Leotau
Pale Recluse
Naya Sojourners
Qasali Pridemage <---
Grixis Sojourners
Island

I was unsure about what to pick here. I didn't think I needed any more fixing, so Pale Recluse was out. The Naya Sojourners might've been a better pick for the beefy body and cycling ability, but the Pridemage was a solid two-drop (which I'm lacking). I ended up going for the low-drop and hope one of those two pass around.

P3P2:

Cloven Casting
Slave of Bolas
Tainted Sigil
Lorescale Coatl
Ethersworn Shieldmage
Demonic Dread
Deadshot Minotaur
Leonin Armguard
Wildfield Borderpost
Magefire Wings
Jund Hackblade <---
Grizzled Leotau
Igneous Pouncer
Mountain

Another solid two-drop, although I almost took the borderpost. Again, the fixing is pretty unnecessary, and I'm banking on borderposts to swing around.

P3P3:

Sages of the Anima
Zealous Persecution
Violent Outburst
Arsenal Thresher
Ethercaste Knight
Grixis Sojourners
Singe-Mind Ogre
Kathari Bomber
Captured Sunlight
Talon Trooper
Rhox Brute <---
Pale Recluse
Plains

A lot of people swear by the cascade cards, but I personally can't stand playing a card that just gains life. Rhox Brute seems like a more stable pick.

P3P4:

Thopter Foundry
Sigiled Behemoth
Arsenal Thresher
Naya Sojourners
Monstrous Carabid
Stormcaller's Boon
Putrid Leech
Sigil of the Nayan Gods
Talon Trooper
Wildfield Borderpost <---
Forest

Sojourners, Borderpost, Sojourners, Borderpost...Still not sure what to pick here. Borderpost is what I ended up getting, but only on the basis that I already have a lot of four and five drops, and the mana will help me stable out faster early one for things like the Hackblade and Knotvine Mystic.

P3P5:

Meddling Mage
Demonspine Whip
Singe-Mind Ogre
Esper Sojourners
Offering to Asha
Ethercaste Knight
Architects of Will
Pale Recluse
Magefire Wings
Cerodon Yearling <---
Forest

Strong two drop, never regret playing him.

P3P6:

Ardent Plea
Etherwrought Page
Winged Coatl
Ethersworn Shieldmage
Deadshot Minotaur
Fieldmist Borderpost
Violent Outburst
Vedalken Ghoul
Captured Sunlight <---
Forest

Guess I have to take back what I said earlier. There's nothing really to grab here, and between the two cascade cards, Captured can hit more of them (such as the 3 drop mana rampers).

P3P7:

Mind Funeral
Morbid Bloom
Demonic Dread
Fieldmist Borderpost
Magefire Wings
Captured Sunlight
Sewn-Eye Drake
Trace of Abundance <---
Island

Mana stabilizer/ramp. (I've sure got a lot of ramp cards today...)

P3P8:

Captured Sunlight
Cerodon Yearling
Naya Sojourners <---
Architects of Will
Singe-Mind Ogre
Ethercaste Knight
Violent Outburst
Plains

Big body, cycling ability...finally time to snag one of these.

P3P9:

Morbid Bloom
Illusory Demon
Skyclaw Thrash
Winged Coatl <---
Etherium Abomination
Grixis Sojourners
Island

Don't want anything chump-killing my beef!

P3P10:

Cloven Casting
Tainted Sigil
Demonic Dread
Magefire Wings
Grizzled Leotau <---
Mountain

Nothing really here; picking in colors.

P3P11:

Violent Outburst
Arsenal Thresher
Grixis Sojourners
Captured Sunlight <---
Plains

Another cascade? Suuuure...

P3P12:

Mind Funeral
Stormcaller's Boon
Sigil of the Nayan Gods <---
Forest

Doubt I'll find a place for it in my deck, but just in case.

P3P13:

Offering to Asha <---
Magefire Wings
Forest

P3P14:

Vedalken Ghoul <---
Forest

P3P15:

Island <---

-- -----------

the only pick I don't like is you taking Captured Sunlight over Deadshot Minotaur. He kills a guy? I don't see how people don't pick him highly. If not, just cycle him. I like picking a lot of playables and siding this guy in against esper or grixis or whatever.

I don't like the analysis of Branching Bolt, and I would consider the agony warp a 2 for 1 a lot more often abusing combat than relying on your opponent to play out flyer and non flyer, agony warp can be a blow out and is not simply a 1 for 1. Not that branching bolt isn't the pick, but that's what I personally think of the card.

p1-p1 branching bolt vs agony warp is entirely a preference thing no matter which you pick someone is going to be telling you made the wrong pick, they are wrong as both are fine.

Quite a dramatic improvement from the last draft.

I personally like warp better, but they are pretty much on the same power level.

@P_P4E: To be honest, I've never had very much success with him on the basis of what you mentioned - at best, he's a sideboard card. In the case of my deck, though, I have three global flying destruction cards via the Rockcaster and 2 Scattershots (and the Branching Bolt for meddlesome X/3 flyers like Cloudheath Drake) so I thought in this case, it'd be better to accelerate into a possibly ramping three drop than to solidify an already strong flying defense. Personal preference, I suppose, but I'll keep the pick in mind.

Nice viewpoints on the Agony Warp; I'll keep that in mind, as well, for next time.

Perhaps so, but there was no way for me to know beforehand =( Hindsight is 20/20, as the saying goes.
