I've only been through a few matches with Blightning Rock but it has really put up good numbers. Having 10 cards of disruption MD and 4 more SB puts a good strain on most control decks, but I lost a tough one to a Bant control deck. The Jund Charms are a ton of fun vs. Kith or Fae, and it only needs to get 1 or 2 big threats out for the win. Demigod, Colossus, Doran, and Figure can do it by themselves if they have to. The manabase is complex, but I have hardly ever had trouble casting Doran, Demigod, and pumping Figure in the same game. Let me know what you think.

| I don't see why this is really much better than a Doran deck. Figure and mogg seem terrible. |

| Why not run 4x Nameless Inversion in place of the fanatics then you can consistently run the various tribe lands like Gilt Leaf Palace, Ancient Amphitheater, and Auntie's Hovel. Would really help to speed up your deck. With this change maybe you could have Wrens Run Vanquishers instead of the Figures? |

The only way you can play Figure of Destiny turn 1, is through a untapped Bosk. And Mogg Fanatic can never be played turn 1 with that manabase.
18 cip tapped (4 of which can be untapped) lands? Just to be able to play Demigod?
Actually, I think that the error in this build is Doran himself. It would be better if you played BR aggro (like the deck that won a m-l tournament) and no Doran. Your game-plan, which is early creatures + disruption does not need Doran at all.
So, I suggest going to BR and quit trying to build RBGW aggro. I admit not testing your deck, but nevertheless I believe wholeheartedly that both Doran Rock and RB aggro are better decks than this Doranrockrbaggro hybrid. |
