This is UW control but with mill as a win condition.

I'm having trouble with the sideboard. I'm really not too sure of what to put in there and I only find myself switching a few cards out or none at all.

The strategy is to stall for as long as possible and mill the opponent.

No bickering on how mill is a passive wincon? Gah shoot... Mad

On serious notes now:

Consign to Dream seems better than Resounding Wave about 100% of the time when you can't pay for the cycling anyway.. unless I'm missing something; I'm good at that.

Maybe.. dunno, Kederekt Leviathan? Once you get your draw going having mana for him ain't gonna be a problem. Worst case scenario, he gets countered and you Unearth him next. Sounds good with the overall gameplan and works as another wincon. I'd cut 1-2 Sunken Hopes for him.

Oh, and for the sake of being positive, this is the only deck in which I think Jace fits perfectly. Cool

I saw Twincast and immediately thought Sanity Grinding. But you don't have it. :/

Figured I'd link you to this. It's quite a fun deck and not half bad (nowhere near tier 1 mind you).

So... basically you have turbofog that has only one way to stay alive: bounce spells!

If the last T2 format TF with WOGs and all had trouble staying alive, how were you planning to do that with monoU and 1-to-1 trade spells that don't even take care of the problem?

Try playing a game against kithkins. Or Faeries. Or red. Or elves. Or...

I've been playing mill for some time now and this is the latest version I'm playing. It's solid and you should try it out. It's fun and has done pretty well vs top tier decks. It doesn't only rely on mill as a win condition. .

So I updated the deck a little bit.

I'm really trying to stay away from sanity grinding and twin cast because I found that its usually a useless card in my hand while im getting beaten down by creatures and stuff and I'll die if I cast it or not unless I'm playing other spells to help me stall some more. Also maybe its just me but I have terrible luck with it. Over half the time I flip over 5 or more land cards.

I'm using resounding wave over consign to dreams because of a few times where I needed just a little bit for mill because of the cards i kept putting back on their library.

I'm also really trying to stay away from creatures.
I'll try out the Kederekt Leviathan when I have more time but I'm gonna keep the sunken hopes. They seem to be great when I get to put one or 2 down.

Afterwards I'll also try out the Vendilion cliques and Godhead of Awe.

I also want to try combining sunken hope with some good comes into play effect creatures. Does anyone have any ideas for a good creature to abuse?

I was thinking black for soul snuffers, highway robbers, marsh flitter, murderous redcap, nekrataal,

or white for stuff like wispmare, kitchen finks

or green for farhaven elf, or civic wayfinder, kitchen finks, elvish visionary

Thanks guys this is great stuff.

so I changed my deck to UW for lifegain and wrath.

I'm not sure about the # of condemn and unsummons. condemns are good if the creatures are actually attacking like with demigod of revenge but unsummon can bounce troublesome creatures that dont attack like gaddock teeg.

Still having trouble with the sideboard.
I was thinking of putting in feudkiller's verdict or beacon of immortality against more aggro and burn decks but they might be too slow.
