(I know the NFL week isn't over yet, but no one staked their survival life on SD or NYJ, so I'll post the thread now.)

Last week, 14 people made it to week 3. Thanks to the Dolphins' victory over New England, six of them were eliminated. Thanks to Minnesota finally getting off the schneid, two more were eliminated. Thanks to someone forgetting to submit their pick, one more was eliminated.

Not even a quarter of the season has finished yet and we're down to the final five. Here they are, with their choices to date marked as well:

Eliminator: Patriots, Giants, Falcons
SarcasticRat: Patriots, Cardinals, Giants
snoopster: Broncos, Giants, Seahawks
mandangelow: Steelers, Giants, Seahawks
blitzer2k7: Steelers, Giants, Seahawks

For week 4, here is the list of games:

This week is the first week with byes, so there are fewer options.

Once again, I'll post my pick first. I don't really like my options, so I'm going to buy myself another week by choosing Buffalo to beat St. Louis in the Dome.

Go me for having the Minnesota defense in my fantasy league Razz, along with other great starts in santana moss, matt forte, and Aaron Rodgers. I also laughed so hard when I saw the embarrassment New England took against a sub-par Miami. What a great game. And thanks to everyone that picked New England to win..So what does the winner of this elimination style game get?

Now on to my pick. Im really liking San Diego over Oakland and Dallas over Washington. Its a tough choice but looking ahead to week five I see some interesting matchups, so my pick this week is San Diego over Oakland.

I hate going into the weekend not being able to make a pick.

See, I'm in South Africa, so the amount of people around home that actually follows the NFL is very limited (and close to nil).

Playing in the elimination league actually gave me a reason to follow the games and research the teams a bit.

Good luck to those still competing!
