Im thinking maybe i should have took the snakeform now looking at some of the black in sideboard as I was not blue enough to support dominus.

Sb cards of note

1 faerie macabre
1 sickle ripper
1 kinscear harponist
1 gravegil duo
1 bloodied ghost

Round 1 paired vs mono white game 1 lose to rhys the redeemed had i realised i could target it with spitting image any they would both die because of legendary rule earlier in game i may have been able to win it. Game 2 I get a good curve and he is forced to shielding up a rhys token and sitting back i draw a tow attack in with all but two blue creatures, he doesnt see whats coming i win game. Game 3 we trade early dudes, he gets a wilf leaf cavilers out and suits it up with shield but i have aethertow, he replay but i draw curse as answer, i attack into 6 mana 2 cards in hand with bonder and shorecrasher mimic he has fire at will, i need one more mana for spitting image, im sitting with thisltdown duo in hand with 2 islands 3 swamps, he plays out cevin rider and hexhunter, I draw dominus the worst draw in my deck only non playable spell, he attacks in with cervin rider and drops me to 10, i draw alnd for image but its no good vs cervin rider as i do not have white mana plus now i also have cavilers to deal with again, thanks to hexhunter from there its game over:<

feedback appreciated

You don't like kulrath knight? I think he's better than liege.

my first picks would have been
Jaws, morselhoarder, knollspine, scuttlemutt, red cohort, red cohort

BTW: if your going to first pick leige and try and force mono blue you need to pick the good blue cards. ie Gloomlance is obv better than merrow wavebreakers. but your sending the wrong signals the drafter on your left and your later picks will be less rewarding.

I took the liege because i could get value form him, if it was so serious an event money drafting did not matter i would have took jaws.

I think the liege was the right pick

personally i would've tried to abuse him as much as possible by picking lots of blue or white creatures

my first 8 picks would've probably have been

liege
leech bonder
raven's run dragoon
scuttlemutt (it's just versitile and small chance faerie swarm tables and you might not play swarm but you will play scuttlemutt)
raven's run dragoon
last breath
safehold sentry (i already got two 4cc 3/3)
oona's gatewarden

Pack 1 pick 8:
Plains (FOIL)
Ghastly Discovery
--> Oona's Gatewarden
Cinderhaze Wretch
Goldenglow Moth
Zealous Guardian
Loch Korrigan
Merrow Grimeblotter
Im pretty sure in Blue you want to pick Merrow Grimeblotter.
blue has the best untap creatures to abuse Banishing Knack and you can always pick up at least 1 in 3rd pack.
Gate Warden is good but I would never pick it over Merrow Grimeblotter.

Gatewarden is definitely the right pick here, Grimeblotter is horrible. I did played Grimeblotter once and regretted it. I has too small body for the ability: you have to attack to use the ability and usually you have to use it during the same combat step you attacked to save Merrow from dying. Gatewarden is awesome creature in blue evasion decks as it holds your opponents creatures while you beat the shit out of them with your fliers.

No offence, but i stopped looking after you took the Liege over teh Fearie. Lige is just not amazing enough for me to take it over a card that dominates the board all by itself. Fearie helps you in infi more matches = infit more packs... The liege is only worth about 1 tick at the moment.

I think the correct order is fearie jaws liege

Faerie over jaws? What is wrong with you? The pick is between Jaws and liege (liege is only viable because of its value outside of the draft matches). Faerie does not "dominate the board by itself". It gets in for 1 a turn, taps down 1 guy if you have the 2 mana, and holds back 2/1s. This is not a huge, instant shift in board control that can come from dropping a liege after blockers are declared, or from killing 2, 3, and in rare cases even 4 creatures from a big jaws.

i think the right pick is liege as it can set you up for mono white or blue which are both very strong or uw, i really hate drafting 2 colours when you dont have to especially with heavy costing stuff for 1 colour. i dont rly like jaws as the mono red deck you want to draft has few lands and doesnt want to sit back on jaws. while dominus is a bomb, you cant play it at all in ur deck and snakeform is nuts
