why deepwalkers? also remove the rune snags.
play 4 unsummon,4th constable and 4 ancestral visions (takie out 2 wings of velis-vel also). u rly need draw, since u need repetitive bounce.

I agree with Jaymo in that if you want the deck to be even slightly competitive (and I am fully aware that this is in the casual or other decks section for those of you who will flame and say that the degree to which a deck is competitive is not the only thing that matters) you need to clude blinks.
For 1, bounce decks generate card disadvantage simply by playing spells like boomerang, whirlpool whelm and unsummon. Blink allows you to reuse the creatures you already have out 2 more times. so for 1 card you bounce two permenant which is good.
Also the ability to dodge cheap removal also becomes invaluable when keeping pressure on a mana light opponent. With your opponent sitting on 2 lands trying to cast terror or nameless inversion on your venser or cloudskate you really want to keep your guy around and so bouncing a permenant in addition to that is just great.
I would also replace the faerie conclaves with mutavaults. They do the same damage but the mutavault takes 1 less mana total so this gives you room to attack and bounce earlier thus keeping pressure while still developing tempo. The flying clause on the conclave becomes irrelevant because a) you can bounce threats or blockers and b) if they have something out that you can't bounce or anything big enough to block the mutavault and not die then you are in trouble.
When the new set comes out, the creature that draws cards and gains you life when it deals damage will be very good for the deck. Also with the new duel lands as well as reflecting pool, you will be able to work in red into the mana base allowing you to use avalanche riders as well as the 4 mana molten rain.
As is you need some card draw so ancestral visions are a good idea. A turn 1 visions could make a difference between bouncing until turn 4 and then running out of gas and bouncig until turn 4 then dropping a venser and continuing to bounce while attacking with the venser and a mutavault. |
