Since you remove cards from the game with the counterbore would that still count as cards able to be played with guile?


I doubt it but i dont have the greatest rule book knowledge and someone migtht know something i dont

No. The others of the card that were removed were not countered, therefore you can't use guile's ability. You can play the one you countered.

guile replaces the counter effect so the counter effect NEVER HAPPENS. in counterbores case the spell still resolves and the target spell still needs its copies removed.

guile lets u paly counterbored spells but not the copies
