The faqs suggest a commmercial irc product. There are many free options available.
I suggest vIRC:
http://www.visualirc.net/
When installing allow it to become the default irc player.
Next on your desktop i suggest right clicking and select new shortcut:
it will ask for a location, type 'irc://irc.solidirc.com/apprentice' (no apostrophes)or substitute apprentice for whatever room you want
then just name it 'Magic chat room' or whatnot. |
