Hey, after recently installing the Shadowmoor patch, mws started refusing to open the master base. It gives me an error message of:
| Quote: | | DEBUG: Error, insufficient memory for this operation |
I've been fiddling with it for a while now trying to get it to work, but it just won't. I removed the Shadowmoor expansion, I uninstalled and reinstalled....I even uninstalled, manually deleted the files it left behind (the decks and data) and then reinstalled again without the shadowmoor patch at all...and I still get the message.
I really don't think its my memory. I've closed down all other programs, and I'm running with 3 gigs of ram. Never had a problem running it before.
I also saw someone on this forum complain about the same thing from an old thread from a year ago. He said his problem was solved because the assigned inventory base was too big. I tried assigning a new inventory base with one Leery Fogbeast in it, and still no change.
The only thing that I've done that made the master base open was to create a new, blank library and assign it as the master base. Then it opens normally, and I can manually open the old master base. During that time, any decks with cards in them can't find them in the master base, so all the decks go blank. Once I try to reassign the master base as the default master base, the program restarts and then I get the same error message.
Any suggestions? |
