ok I have a mogg fanatic out and I sac him. In response the opponent plays a shock targeting mogg fanatic. mogg's sac damage is null because shock killed him before he sacs right?
I have a mogg fanatic out equipped with loxodon warhammer. I sac him. Do I get the lifelink from the sac damage? Same with keldon merauders and such. |

Sacrificing the Mogg Fanatic is the cost you pay to use its ability. Paying costs doesn't use the stack and your opponent cannot respond to it. Your opponent can play Shock, but the Fanatic is already in your graveyard and the damage from the Fanatic is already on the stack.

And no, you don't get the life from the lifelink. By the time the ability resolves the Hammer is no longer equipped.

Another thing that is important to note about saccing: after you have tapped a vesuvan shapeshifter that copied a gemhide sliver for 2 manas, you have to sac it. Why, you ask? It lies in how you get the 2 manas. See, you do not get 1 ability that says "T: make 2 manas" you have 2 abilities that both say "T: Make one manas" So, to make 2 manas, you use the first ability, then you use the second ability in response. However, this causes your shapeshifter to tap 2 times, making it fall off the board and die.

Yes, you can. The sacrifice trigger from the evoke ability goes on the stack when the evoked creature comes into play, so you can sacrifice the creature to your Gargadon.
