I have several questions about limit tournaments here. Feel free to answer just the questions you want to answer. Please be patient to me because I am a newbie around here.

1)What limited formats are played on tournaments here?
2)Are all tournaments sanctioned?
3)What is the difference between trial tournaments and other tournaments?
4)Are the ratings here DCI ratings?
5)How do you generate sealed decks and booster drafts here?
6)How are tournaments organized?
7)Any good tutorial I could read on the subject?

Thanks in advance

For limited formats via tournements mostly just booster draft and sealed deck

Not by the DCI

Trial is no max always tho minis can be no max also. Also trials win you byes for masters in which you can win money.

No, their for magic-league play only thought they are calculated the same way I believe.

Booster drafts are done via Net draft and apprentice. While Sealed decks are generated via the site and then ur deck is made from opening a file you download of a txt file u make using magic workstation or apprentice.

I dont know what you mean sorry

Look in the guide section to the right and look at the "How to start" link on the side

1.) We only play Booster Draft and Sealed on this League.
2.) Minis are tournaments, but don't coun for anythin other than rating and team points. Trials are usually very large, and gives out byes to the master, which is a big money tournament held every 2 weeks.
3.) Answered that on with 2.
4.) No, these ratings have NOTHING to do with DCI. It is ran the same way, though; you start at a base 1600, then work your way up or down the list.
5.) The site is coded. When you enter a sealed tournament, on magic-league.com, there will be a link that says "BUild sealed deck here", and it will generate a card pool, you make the deck, then import it into MWS.
6.) Tournaments can ONLY be ran by judges. You have to be registered for at least 30 days and have played in 3 tournaments here. Judges run minis at their own discretion, which means there will never be postings about it before the event. Trials, Masters, and the Invitational are all scheduled, and are found on the homepage of magic-league.com.
7.) Not that I know of. It is kind of feel along as you go... Just follow the rules, play in turnaments, figure everythin ou. And don't be afraid to ask questions. Most people would gladly answer them for you. Also, you can go to the site's chat, and type /join #judges4you and ask the judges therefor help.
