|
|
Hello, Basicly I noticed there is a LLL sealed trial this sunday. I am interested in trying it out but this would be my first Magic-Leauge trial, And my first online Sealed. I have no Idea how to do either. As a Newby to the forums I was hoping someone here would be able to explain how it works to me. So that I could participate. I don't know if a guide is posted somewhere or what.
Thanks in advance. |

| when a trial pops up at the given time(usually a 10 or so minutes before), they're will be an entry notice on the front page and channel. You can sign up on the front page by clicking the "enter here" link. You enter your name and deck. In Sealed you have no deck so you just enter your name. When the tourny starts you'll be given all your packs and a deck building time limit on the main site and when its over you save your deck and play thro MWS. |

Everything craze said +
When the deckbuilding round starts, you refresh the homepage and you will see your name plus the name of your first round opponent. Below this you will see a link that says Build your sealed deck here! Click that link and build your deck. Below the deckbuilding area you will see instructions about how to save your deck to your pc and open it in magic workstation. Follow those instructions fully and thoroughly and you should have no problems.
After your done, go back to the home page, Click the title of the tournament link, click participants and find your name. Next to your name you will see several series of numbers. Those numbers are your deck's security code. Look at the one in the MWS column. That will be the one that matters. Then go back into MWS, go to Tools: get deck security code. Compare that code to the one onsite, if it matches, you're good. If not, then you need to re-download your deck until it does match. If it doesn't match you will be disqualified.
The security code is how we tell if you have added any cards to your deck. Change one card and you have an entirely different code.
When you finally join your opponent for the game, at the start of it you will see MWS shows both yours and your opponents security code. You can use the same method to check your opponents security code to ensure that he/she hasn't cheated or made any mistakes. Mistakes happen more often than you think, so I would recommend doing it before each match.
All this may seem like a lot, but once you do it once or twice you'll get the hang of it and understand the importance of it. If you encounter any questions or problems, you can always type /join #judges4you in the IRC chat window and a judge will gladly assist you. |

| You will also need to join the "Chat & Play Room" so you can find your opponent and arrange to play him on server or IP address |

Some people use the pavouk server on MWS because it's more stable than most.
