I thought I'd just take a bit of space here and have a todo list i can edit from all over the world (not that I'd be in brasil any time soon, but still)
[ ] Check for disconnects when game is draw when time is up, rather than flip right away.
[ ] Clean up old table data
[ ] Clean up old mini data
[ ] Catch life setting messages so people in lobby can see the life total of players in a game without having to join.
[ ] Add a mini config to be able to use life data to determini winner.
[ ] Catch "next turn" messages
[ ] Use turn data to give players 5 more turns after time is up
[ ] Grant players extra time .. (after ruling etc etc)
[ ]

IRC is not needed.
when a TC creates a 'mini' on the GO server, there are some settings for this mini.
1.) The round-time (default 50 mins)
2.) The break-time (time between rounds, used for judge issues, deck checks, chatting, etc)
The people who are signed up for this mini receive how much time is left in the GO client, this time will be kept up to date automatically in the titlebar of the program.
So the players have a little timer they can watch.
Some bugs will show up eventually, but they will be fixed obviously.
Some things TC's dont need to do when running a GO-mini
-Run a script that handles time, pairings and the !time command.
-Check the website for results
-Create pairings
-Spam pairings on IRC
This way TC's have more time to handle rules questions and the like. |
