Might be a mistake to try a hybrid here, but mostly this is just an attempt to update Gifts Rock.

The Azusa is obviously a questionable inclusion, and Street Wraith may be out-of-place everywhere outside of Legacy/Vintage. Thoughts?

Actually, every single card will rotate out of Extended some day. (Ok, maybe basic lands won't but everything else probably will) |

i meant with the start of the next block, all his lands are gone, the wishes, baloth, therapy, duress, they are all gone. |

So . . . when you say "don't even bother," you mean "don't bother playing anything that isn't Vintage or Legacy," right? Or do you mean I should play with inferior cards that won't rotate out as quickly and ignore the power of fetchlands and Deed?

I'm pretty sure the definition of "Gifts Rock" is "A messy, unfocused pile of steaming cards, see 'Midrange' for more examples" but it wins an occasional game or two. Maybe a part of the problem is my organization. I just posted from my Apprentice list. I'll go clean it up now. |
