//NAME: Madness
3 Dreadship Reef
9 Island
11 Swamp
4 Smallpox
4 Dark Withering
4 Psychotic Episode
4 Looter il-Kor
4 Trespasser il-Vec
4 Nightshade Assassin
2 Tendrils of Corruption
4 Nether Traitor
4 Shadowmage Infiltrator
3 Gorgon Recluse
// Sideboard:
SB: 4 Plague Sliver
SB: 2 Avatar of Discord
SB: 3 Stupor
SB: 2 Sudden Spoiling
SB: 4 Sudden Death
The major weekness of this deck is the massive amounts of x/1s and everything can be killed be soot. A read splash might be in order to play soot and disengrate or fiery. I would really apperciate any help.

-4 Trespasser il-Vec (too fragile for a 3 drop, 1 toughness with no untargetability)

+2 Phyrexian Totem (a must in any black TSP block agro deck, because you can't do much after they Sulfurous Blast your board otherwise)
+2 Careful Consideration (card draw + discard, and a great way to refill your hand without Compulsive, which isn't in the format)

Just a couple other suggestions: Psionic Blast may be good in here as well, and I'd consider Dralnu, Lich Lord as well, since you have a lot of spells you could flashback for nice effects (Psychotic, Tendrils, Dark Withering if you get the mana, Psionic if you add it)

trespasser is good as he is discard as an instant w/o mana cost. urborg mage and jaya cut the speed extensively, although the effects are nice. I would at least put the totem in the sb so if you see mass removal g1, add it. call to the grave may not be bad as a 2 of. given that you only have 8 spells with blue and you are running tendrils, drop the reefs ( why wait for the mana when your deck has such a low curve?) and go to say 5 islands and many more swamps. idk about nether traitor either. he doesn't fit the madness mold and he's a 2 drop 1/1, but i haven't tested him. also with discard outlets all over and a slight fear of creature removal, why not 1 or 2 avatar of woes? you'd have to test it but i think at least it's a 1 of being that if you do get housed by mass removal, he's cheap. I also notice you lack solid removal. Tendrils is good but withering is expensive w/o the discard, and doesn't hit black and assassin requires cards in hand. that's not good considering you have no flyers. i would up the tendrils by 1, drop the withering by 1 probably. 1 more thing, undertaker is a good discard outlet as well, you might consider working him in.

I'm not trying to build your deck for you. Just my opinions, take them as you will.

ps. why avatar of discord and stupor in the sb? those seem like cards you either maindeck or don't play at all.

well heres my own version of madness..i had to recur to 3 colors since there arent that many deck worth cards for madness in a single color.

//NAME: Madness 1.3
5 Swamp
4 Terramorphic Expanse
7 Mountain
6 Island
4 Fiery Temper
4 Reckless Wurm
4 Chromatic Star
3 Jaya Ballard, Task Mage
4 Think Twice
4 Rift Bolt
3 Magus of the Bazaar
3 Muck Drubb
4 Brain Gorgers
4 Looter il-Kor
1 Demonic Collusion
SB: 4 Big Game Hunter
SB: 3 Akroma, Angel of Fury
SB: 4 Sudden Death
SB: 4 Dark Withering

I have tested this against various decks..mostly of them T2 rogue and Teferi T2 decks cause of the lack of block decks. Hence the SB is only temptative.

-Looter: is ur main drawing/madness base, 1 dmg+drawing+enabling maddness.
-Magus: is ur second option for drawing/madness. This is a really great card on the later turns cause of the qty mana and it realy helps u dig for anwsers.
-Jaya: Its the 3rd madness enabler option for this deck, but plays mostly as a finisher/control board card

Fariy temper, Reckless wurm and brain groger really shine as theyre really efficient madness spells.

Im not so sure about muck in MD tougth he can pull some good combat tricks with magus. Either way i could really need some help moving him out for a more efficient card.

-think twice helps ur drawing and thanks to flashback so its isnt that bad to descard it.

-Rift bolt: a good burn card.

-Demonic Collusion. An expensive tutor and prolly a madness enabler but im still loking for a card to move this one out.

SB:

4 Sudden Death: A must against teferi since teferi abilities shut down madness. the split second mechanic makes this card premium cause its ability to negate any way to save the creature from the removal.

4 Big Game hunter: Cheap removal against big creatures and it has madness. Slides in for rift bolt in this cases.

4 Dark Whitering:Agains, cheap removal against non black, slides in for temper most of the times.

3 Akroma, Angel of Wrath: I used this card as a response for Teferi T2 deck, and if a teferi deck of block its made revolving the same nature of control this is a must. If this doesnt happen then it must be changed for a more efficient SB card.

Main weakness:
-Mana screwed: even tough it has 4 terramorphic expanses and 4 chromatic stars this decks sometimes can make u mulligan down to 5 cause of mana screw.
-Not really good matches against really fast aggro decks, and im talking boros kinda of speed.
-No flyers. This deck relies only on its burns and removal spell against flyers.
-No way to deal with artifacts/enchanments. Unless something is added to SB.
-Desert. This land kills looters, so maybe ill add some land killing in the SB.

Ive really decent results in my test tougth as i said it need further block testing for SB.
