The deck is a black/white deck aimed at destroying creatures to stall, then unleashing an amazing combo. I used two cards from Planar Chaos, you can see them at: http://www.magicdeckvortex.com/vs_planar_chaos.htm

Estimated Price is $281.60, give or take a little because of the planar chaos cards (Only Dash Hopes and Damnation are Planar Chaos).

//Spells
4 Damnation
4 Wrath of God
4 Debtors' Knell
4 Mortify
2 Dash Hopes

//Combo
2 Words of Worship
4 Yawgwoth's Bargain
4 Children of Korlis
1 Spellbook

//Creatures
1 Ghost Council of Orzhova
1 Agent of Masks
2 Desolation Angel

//Artifacts
2 Orzhov Signet
4 Howling Mine
1 Black Vise

The combo is, if you couldn't deduce, get out Children of Korlis and Yawgmoth's Bargain, draw your deck then sacrifice Children of Korlis to get your life back. Then play Words of Worship to 1. Protect yourself if they try to force you to draw a card and 2. Have the option to tap 1 and gain 4 life whenever you want. At that point, you just tear them apart with kill spells and black vise etc.

What do you think?

I didnt think you could make a deck with Yawgmoth's Bargin and have it not be broken. I stand corrected.

Okay, I didn't know that.

I don't follow you there at all. The more cards they have, the worse it is.

In real life they do, when everyone doesn't have access to all of the power nine and every $200 card in existance.

But whatever. I don't even care.

What?

And I'm not going to say I'm good at magic, because I'm not. But I don't understand how this could be so bad. Could you guys at least try to explain what a good deck would be like? And one that could actually happen in real life without being a millionare.

first of all, most T1 tournys let people play with 5-10 proxies, so you dont have to be rich to play with Power9.
second, if you want to play a cheap deck... why are you playing T1 at all?
third, if you insist on playin T1, a good, cheap deck would be Mountains win again!

I don't so much insist on playing type 1 as I just want to be able to play any card I want.

emulate the effects. for example, instead of playing a saphire medallion, play one of those invasion creatures that do the same for 2 mana. well, this is a bad example, but anyway...

that deck's kinda weird anyway. there's no need for 8 creature removals... you've got yawgmoth's bargain. and it seems very slow... dark rituals, anyone? but won't the bargain cost you a lot?

NOTE: I'm not good at vintage. at all.

My eyes bled when I looked at this deck. I play t1 irl a lot and I own full power and I go to tournemetns where half the people there own full power and the other half proxy it cause it's a 5 proxie tournyment.
You wouldn't even win a game. Wrath of God and Damnation are terrible in t1 Cards LIke swords to plowshares run around 1 dollar and are infinately better. Signets in t1 that is funny also. Go build a deck like fish that can win and t1 and would probably cost less money if you proxied any the expesnive cards.
