I've been testing this deck for a PTQ coming up next month and im thinking about spending the moeny on the cards. Let me know what you guys think it could use or drop. The meddling mages work surprisingly well vs control and aren't that hard to get out on turn two with the sac and dual lands.

22 Lands
1 Breeding Pool
1 Steam Vents
2 Barbarian Ring
2 Stomping Ground
2 Hallowed Fountian
2 Flooded Strand
3 Windswept Heath
3 Wooded Foothills
3 Sacred Foundry
3 Temple Garden

20 Creatures
3 Isamaru
3 Goblin Legionnaire
3 Meddling Mage
3 Watch Wolf
4 Savannah Lions
4 Kird Ape

18 Spells
3 Sudden Shock
3 Armadillo Cloak
4 Lava Dart
4 Lightning Helix
4 Char

I'm not a big extended player so I'm not sure if this will even hold up in the metagame. Please let me know your thoughts.

I have been playing a 5c zoo deck for sometime now... I got a list from Pollo about a month ago and have been testing it alot. I tried to fit in Meddling Mage but found that dropped a watchwolf/dark confidant or leaving burn mana open a little better than playing him but he defiantly deserves a SB slot. With that I will leave you with my most recent list.

2 Vindicate
4 Lightning Helix
4 Tribal Flames
4 Gaea's Might
4 Vinelasher Kudzu
4 Watchwolf
4 Dark Confidant
3 Savannah Lions
3 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
2 Boros Swiftblade
4 Kird Ape
1 Mountain
1 Plains
1 Forest
1 Sacred Foundry
1 Steam Vents
1 Hallowed Fountain
1 Breeding Pool
1 Blood Crypt
1 Overgrown Tomb
1 Godless Shrine
1 Stomping Ground
4 Windswept Heath
1 Bloodstained Mire
2 Temple Garden
4 Wooded Foothills

Vinelasher Kudzu is amzing..he is an auto of with 9 sac lands. Boros Swiftblade is more of a test but he is still amazing with Gaea's Might and SB'd Armadillo Cloak. I have tested with lavamancer but when I dropped him turn 1 he was only mediocre and I would rather have something like Kird Ape or Isamaru or even lions. The sideboard is up to you for whatever you think the metagmae is going to be. Mine is:

3 Meddling Mage
3 Flametongue Kavu
2 Kataki, War's Wage
3 Armadillo Cloak
3 Duress
1 Vindicate

the only autos are Kataki and Duress...the rest is up to you...hope this helped

peace out

LOL, this deck is teir 1 only beacuse confidants.

about the list of percinct:

1) You play Boros Swiftblade only beacuse you got G. Might and SB Cloak?

2) You trust too much upon you'r creatures to do the job + you cut the char's so i really don't know how you can win Chant when they got wog, fire/ice, helix and bounch.

3) Vindicate - too slow. smother is much batter as you can play it EoT and burn in you'r turn.

Same about kavu - a creature thate attack first time on turn five, cost 4 and still dies to helix/fire/ice/lavamancer/Sudden shock/dart and bolt. ??

Kudzu - it's the worst creature to draw on turn 3+ and even after you sac the fetch land it's only 3/3.

4) Kataki - when you got 8 burns + lavamancar MD + 4 more in side, i say affinity is at least 70-30% for you.

4) Cloak - in my first versions i play 4-3 copies of this between side and main. i realized it's very bad against aggro since there is too many removels thate doesn't care it you'r creature is 2/2 or 4/5 like putrefy, smother, mortify, Vindicate, deed and wog.

Even against boros, they can kill you'r creature with before you pump it with the cloak.

the only thing i think is batter at you'r list then main is the SB Duress's. i will check this out.

Sorry for the bad english,
