| does supression field affect disrupting shoals ability of you may remove a blue card from your hand instead of paying mana cost. is that a activated ability or no? and is it considered a mana ability. thx in advance. |

403.1. An activated ability is written as "[cost]: [effect]." The activation cost is everything before the colon ( . An ability's activation cost must be paid by the player who is playing it. |
