Just a quick first theme I built for a new mtg client.

Now that the functionality is everything you'll ever need, it's time to take a good look at the... looks Wink and also the interface, but it needs to be tested for that.

ps. yes you can also use pics, i just dont have any to use on this pc and mwsdata.com isn't helping.

No offense intended, but that looks like absolute shit. MWS and APPR BOTH look better than that.

Indeed they are.

Can we see the original? Maybe you could give me all the pictures, I would be happy to make a killer theme.

here are my thoughts: Make the program put it on a site then ask the staff here is they will support it's use on Magic-League. there are more programs out there then apprentice and MWS but those are the 2 we chose. mostly because they work the best. a new program, any new program needs to be tested and whatnot. you need to ask the staff to support its use. i'm not locking the topic. if someone else believes it should be locked then go ahead.

imagine we had 10 different programs to play online... that would be a nightmare wouldnt it? all the technical problems, need to make sure you have the right program for the mini. make sure you have a deck for your program, then there would be the absurd amount of channels, and topics "bla bla bla" vs. Apprentice VOTE! "bla bla bla" Vs, "MWS" vote! we have 2 programs and it works well like this.

I bet his tried his very hard to do that. If people want to help him improving the program in their spare time, it's the right place to announce the new program. It's very hard to make the league switch to a new program, as it must be:
a) better than appr and mws
b) have almost no errors
c) easy to use and understand the first time
d) popular
e) pass the testing time with a good mark

It's cool you guys try to make a new program, even more knowing that lot of people play on appr/mws and it's hard to change their mind. When you get a definitive version, I'd be glad to download it and give it a try.

Greets,

Djinn

The exact apprentice look and feel will be a theme you can load.

Just to clarify, I dont need help with the programming part, everything works perfect and has everything you guys requested in the project apprentice 2 thread and more (no bugs)

just a few features
- "can't host" issue gone, since you can play on a remote server.
- minis 24/7, one is created when one ends or one if full.
- sideboard...duh
- viewing of games in real time (nice for judges)
- elimination of !time (you can see the time left in the title bar)

What I do need are some photoshoppers to create some nice backgrounds.

Join #GO (created by nico) if you can help.

How about a graphical interface similar to what you see on a playmat, with two green zones and one red zone? Then the sidebar will contain all your buttons - next phase/step, adjust life totals etc.

Anyway, kudos to you for trying to make something different. Keep trying, I'll be looking forward to it! Very Happy
