I play 2 spells. Then I play Erayo. Then another spell. Does it flip ?
Other situation: I play Erayo. Do I have to play 3 or 4 spells after that to flip it ? |

| Doesn't matter if it's the 1 or 3 spell, as long as the fourth is played anytime after it hits play. |

As long as Erayo is in play when the 4th spell of a turn is played, it flips. Erayo itself is counted as a spell, yes. Play 4 spells in a turn and it flips, simple as that.
The only hitch is that Erayo cannot be the 4th spell, because it would not be in play for its ability to trigger when the 4th spell was played that turn. |

Everyone above is right, he counts as a spell but not as the forth.
Here’s a fun question: if Erayo is the fourth spell, and a spell is played after it, does he flip? I wouldn’t think so, since it’s technically the 5th card, he was the 4th but he wasn’t able to check since he wasn’t in play.
Also: if the spell count is @ 2, Erayo is attempted to be played(#3), can the opponent respond by playing a 4th spell before Erayo resolves? Since he is not in play when the 4th spell is played he does not flip, correct? |

Erayo wont flip if you play the 5th spell after it. Erayo has received erratta to only trigger of the 4th spell played, not after the 4th |

Thx.
And now consider this:
I play Erayo, this is the 1st spell of the turn. It resolves.
My opponent plays an instant.
In response, I play 2 instants.
Erayo flips.
Is my opponent's instant countered ? |

| no...his ability triggers to counter a spell when the opponent plays his/her first spell of a turn...since his/her spell is allready on the stack, it wont trigger to counter it. |

You'd want to cast erayo first, or else, the opponent can play any instant in response and have it not flip this turn... |
