Apprentice Problem or cheater?

Okay well i was facing liquid (nick name tylertmk)

and well it said he had a 158 card deck and he draw 90 cards

he said this was an error ...we played a few games and every game he played..turn 1 kid ape then countered my burn spell with a spellsnare

now if this is just an apprentice error i am quite sorry to you

but if he is a cheater that sucks...

but he says "your going be a laughing stock for a casual game"

Well it looks like either you or him had to select new game twice in the begining and thats what makes apprentice fuck up. Check through the logs it usually when apprentice is buggy it says stuff like "played kird ape from library" when its being played from hand.

but apprentice has never gone...played draws 90
then player draws 7...

ive had something like that happen to me. It said the player i was facing had 6 cards at one point when he really only had 1. He showed me his hand and I pulled the cards from it to the table. Sure enough it was 6. He was shocked. I dont think he was cheating or he wouldnt have shown me his hand. He would have just said it was a mistake. Apprentice is very buggy.

but he starts the game off with 90 cards in his hand and he wouldnt show me his hand cause of his "tech"

At first I thought this would be the common appr g1 glitch, but I dunno now.
Seems like he might actually be cheating, since there is no side effects like there usually is. And I have NEVER heard of appr displaying "Player draws X card" during the glitch.

Either if this was a casual game who cares? He was probally just trying to have some fun. I once played with a 9 card deck just to fuck with my opponent.

Apprentice is prone to showing incorrect numbers in the game status window, but I've never heard of or seen it do so in the chat box. My initial reaction would be that your opponent was cheating.

I’ve hade the same problem. The first game I didn’t notices, but he hade answers to everything even main deck disenchants in BW aggro deck…. Game 2, he hade 90 card start hand and like 160 card deck. I told him and he said he hadn’t and I must be a bug. Then I asked if he could show me he’s hand and then if nothing was wrong he could take a new. He refused and after 5 minutes of cursing from both sides he disconnected…

I was so mad and really wanted to know if he was cheating! I kinda do believe he was but I don’t have soiled proof.

best thing to do in that situation is have them put all of their cards facedown on the table, then show you their empty hand. And yes this is another common bug thats shows mws > appr (though in this case probably cheatz).
