I made a rack deck, and this is much more competitive than my last efforts. Please gimme some help.
-=Creatures=-
2 Mindslicer
2 Hollow Spectre
4 Ravenous Rats
-=Artifacts=-
4 The Rack
3 Anvil of Bogarden
1 Mox Jet
1 Black Lotus
-=Enchantments=-
4 Megrim
2 Underworld Dreams
2 Bottomless Pit
1 Necropotence
2 Phyrexian Arena
-=Sorcery=-
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Mind Twist
4 Blackmail
2 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
-=Instant=-
4 Dark Ritual
4 Funeral Charm
-=Land=-
10 Swamp
1 Strip Mine
I know lands are kinda short, but I can do a lot with Mox Jet, Black Lotus, and Dark Ritual in there. This is obviously an Apprentice deck, 'cause I don't collect the cards. The point is to make them discard and not have any cards and make it hurt whenever they do discard. Ta da. Tell me what you think. |

| I'd lock this if I could, because apparently nobody ever follows the rules here anymore. Any mono black deck in Legacy sucks the bucket, in Vintage you're just multiplying that rule by three. |

| Well, I guess I'm breaking the rules then, because this deck has a winning record. |

With the printing of Confidant, I've seen some Mono black (with a red spash for some rebs) doing decent results in tournaments. They are far from being strong decks, but they are somehow playable. Differently from the above card pile, of course |

You are COMPLETELY wr5ong in legacy. Train Wreck is a teir one deck with several tournament top-1s (different fromtop-8s incase you can't tell) under it's belt out of what? 6/7 legacy tournaments? Learn about a format before you speak of it. Oh and a little birdie told me me that Tendrils was a good deck in vintage |

| I wouldn't consider train wreck tier 1 at all. And why even bother to play Nausea/Tendrils varient over Iggy-Pop anyways? |

You beating people in casual play on M-L that can't even goldfish the deck they either Threw together or Netdecked because they only play T2 does not equal a winning record. This deck is god aweful. Why the hell run 4 Blackmails and 2 Duresses? I wouldn't say all monoblack is garbage but it's not teir 1 (and that includes Legacy, sorry Train Wreck is NOT teir one I'm pretty sure it's creator would even agree as he invented a new deck for day 2 rather then play Train Wreck again at the Duel for Duals). |

Just to let you know, you have no idea what you are talking about.
t1 = Goblins/Thresh
t1.5 = Solidarity
Although solidarity is on the rise, so you can switch threshold and solidarity around.
Other random decks are iggypop, rifter, stax, stomy (both kinds), and zoo, train wreak goes in this catagory. Burn is around, but not much anymore. |
