Help With The Program

Hi,

Noob here.

I am wanting to use Magic Workstation with my friends. We plan on playing each other and maybe joining in theleague here eventually.

How we want to get started is to each start with a specific number of booster packs using the "Generate sealed deck" feature.

I have done this and saved it as a "mwInventory" file.

Now I want to make decks out of this set of cards.

No problem there either. Except when I generated my collection of cards it included 1 basic land type. So I need to add cards to the saved mwInventory file. I dont see any way to add cards to this file.

I tried creating a deck with the cards I want to add to it and then moving them from the deck to the saved file but it says

"Top Base is Locked, You Cannot Modify it"

Is there a way to unlock it so I can add cards?

I forgot to mention that I would like to use Magic Workstation.

I have fooled around with Apprentice a bit and dont care for the interface as much.

I just created several selaed decks and chose work with as base, deck and inventory.

In all cases, I was able to simply use the +/- buttons to increase ANY card's count, even if it generated with just 1 copy.

You might need to generate decks and share card lists to ensure no one pops in a few extra choice cards...I've seen some groups of people try to do an authentic collector's type game, but it relies way to heavily on the honor system for my tastes.

to unlock the "top base" just click the "wordpad" like icon. i preffer saving what i opened in a deck type and then add lands from the base.
