I wanted to create a rouge(ish) type deck that would be competitive in the Vintage format.Thinking on the deck archetypes that I would be facing i.e. Stax, (Uba,007,chrome variants) Dragon Combo,Meandeck Tendrils, Fish etc. I decided to play a deck that I believe will compete against them. Without further hesitation.... U/W Solution.

2x Exalted Angel
4x Decree of Justice
4x Force of Will
4x Mana Drain
3x Meddling Mage
4x Counterspell
4x Standstill
3x Brainstorm
2x Mystical Tutor
3x Swords to Plowshares
1x Black Lotus
1x Mox Sapphire
1x Mox Pearl
1x Time Walk
1x Recall
1x Ancestral Recall
10x Island
4x Flooded Strand
4x Tundra
2x Plains
1x Library of Alexandria

SB:
2x Hindering Touch
4x Null Rod
3x Enlightened Tutor
3x Tormod's Crypt
1x Meddling mage
1x Brainstorm

Basically the general concept of the deck is to stall, draw, and cast a decree of justice for the win.The sideboard is almost semi-transformational in that I am usually sideboarding out the mystical tutors for my enlightened tutors and my artifact and grave hate.

Limited Testing matchups:

U/W Solution vs. Oath = We played 2 matches and it was the sheer amount of counterspells that secured the 2-0 win

U/W Solution vs. 007 Stax(Fastbond) = 2-2, 1st game he bonded out w/ a strip mine and I concede, games 2-3 post sb Null Rod/hella permission secure me the win. Game 4 he God.Hands me my ass as I mana flood :/

U/W Solution vs. Meandeck Tendrils = At this point in testing I am generally happy w/ the results as I have not lost except to screw, or getting 1st turned. Then I play against tendrils. All the counters in my hand couldent help him storming to a 5th turn victory. :/ Post sb- I actually stop a tendrils as he gasps when I play hindering touch.I make about 6 soldiers and proceed to march to victory.I only get 2 matches out of the guy..but I definately need to test against tendrils more...

I am well aware that I should test more but as of right now I am having trouble deciding what to change.. All constructive criticism is appreciated.

Looking at this deck I think UW Fish is better than it. You could probably spend 15 minutes looking and find a version of fish that would work. And if you really want to stop storm then play Stifle (Storm is triggered ability, when you play this spell...).

Looking at your deck, it seems to me that you have NO IDEA whatsoever what T1 is all about.

You dont even know the banned/restricted list for crying out loud. You have taken null rod from agro control variants, and other elements from eBA variants and put them together, taking out some key components of each deck.

You testing mentions nothing about the more powerful decks in T1....Control Slaver, Grim Long, TPS, etc.

Please learn what the format and the meta-game is about before you go about making your own decks that you believe beat the meta-game.

I think it's alright, but as it's been pointed out, it doesn't really hold any advantages over uw fish.
