what do u think of the new preview card?There's a new mechanic as well.

Recover-pay half your life rounded up.
(Whenever another creature is put into your graveyard from play you may pay your life rounded up. If you do return this card from your graveyard to your hand. Otherwise, remove this card from the game.)

The mechanic is cool, the card previewed sucks.

he sucks if you look at him by himself.

now imagine, if you will, putting him in a deck with the adarkar valkyrie from the earlier preview. add in freed from the reel, and you have

U: Destroy target non-black creature.

Great card, awful mana cost. If he doesn't see play, it will be exclusively because of his mana cost. This is the Sakura-Tribe Elder of removal spells.

a 2/2 seal of doom for 3 mana is pretty much playable in constructed. But yeah, his mana cost is unpayable. and his recover cost is also unpayable.
