5-Card Blind (5CB) is a very unique game. The rules are as follows
Your deck is composed of 5 cards, all of which start in your hand.
You have no library (technically, the library exists, but starts at 0 cards) and no sideboard (Wishes fetch nothing).
Random effects always go in your opponent's favour.
You can see your opponent's hand, so you can always make the best possible play.
You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card.
You will play each opponent twice, once going first, once going second.
For each win, you score 3.
For each draw, you score 1.
For each loss, you get nothing.
Other than the aforementioned, EVERYTHING IS HANDLED EXACTLY LIKE A REAL GAME OF MAGIC! |
There ya go. I will have way too friggin much time on my hands after Monday, so I decided to start this thing up.
Now the extravaganza part: THERE ARE NO BANS!!!11!1!!1!!!1

Well duh, you still can't play ante cards, chaos orb and unglued/unhinged cards, but if you didn't figure that out on your own you deserve to get DQed anyway.
Send me your decks via PM on the forums or on the IRC. If you do it on the IRC wait for my confirmation. If you do it via PM, you can ask me on the IRC if I got it right. I play the matches, not you.
ROUND NUMBER ONE will end around monday, possibly around noon eastern standard time. After that I plan on doing 3-4 day rounds, like our beloved GRAH.
EDIT: THIS IS JUST IN: Make up some clever names for your decks, so I can ridicule them. |
