So i dunno if this is the right place to post this but i was browsing mtgsalvations spoiler area and saw a new card added.
Sunscour
5www
You may remove 2 white cards from your hand from the game rather than pay sunscour's mana cost.
Destroy all creatures
Sounds sexy to me. Especially in BW control decks. |

gives me hope for other pitch cards, that’s a pretty powerful effect no doubt. The only question is, is it worth ditching 2 cards for? I would say no, not as long as Wrath of God is playable in the format.
Really the only good thing I can think about this card is plaything is then same turn dropping a massive stoppie. Too bad White doesn’t have a game wining stompie @ the moment(not one that can deal with all the removal in the format, but I guess with multi-color cards floating about it would be easy to pitch cards that shared white. |

btw it's 5WW not 5WWW
and my 2 cents: yeah, wrath's better, but why not run like 2 copies of this in any deck that really needs wrath against aggro
and what does it matter if white has finishers or not??? anyone playing a monocolor deck these days auto-loses anyways. |

| In my opinion, I think this is proof that WoG won't be coming back in 10th when it releases. Sunscour has possibilities as a viable global kill spell in T2 next rotation. Did you notice it doesn't stop regeneration? Maybe more ways to abuse it being "free?" ^_^ |

| i think WoG is coming back. Coldsnap is the completion of the iceage block, so i don't think it counts as T2, i could be wrong though. |

Coldsnap WILL be apart of T2 and I feel this T2 era may be the best because more sets = more variety
2 Blocks + 1 Set + 1 Core seems nice.
2 Blocks = Ravnica Block and Time Spiral Block
1 Set = Coldsnap
1 Core = 10th Edition
I think this card is a sign that Wrath will finally not be reprinted although it's a poor replacement. Wrath was good because it was cheap and it cleared like everything.
There is one big different between this card and Wrath. The part thst says "They can't be regenerated". Sunscour allows creatures to be regenerated so why would you pitch 2 cards to play this and then your opponent can pay GW, sac an elephant and save his whole team?
I do think this would be way better as an instant because the way it is now, it's not a good replacement for Wrath. |

In the context of Ice Age Block, this card is insane. It finally gives Counterpost a mass removal spell.
They're not going to stop printing wrath either... They tried that with birds and there was much complaining from 9th-Ravnica. |

| lol... you people can't understand that coldsnap just means more money for Wotc and surely from now on they will start doing 4 sets a year apart from the reprinted cards, I think this is retarded, magic is already the most profitable game in the world, but men are greedy we all know that... |

| [sarcasm]I agree with fashionboy. I'm extremely upset that Wizards is going to make more money because they're doing more work, releasing more sets, and adding to a game that I don't pay any money to play.[/sarcasm] |

No, the one big difference between this and Wrath is that Wrath of God is card advantage (that card is if they have a whopping 4 guys on board, or you pay the huge pricetag). It's the only decent card White has gotten since 4E to generate card advantage. If Wrath of God is not in 10th, W/x control decks are dead. |

Yeah, but this also allows Ghazi the ability to sac the same elephant to make you wave buh bye to all your stuff. See what I mean? |

| Maybe if it was RFG I would consider it, but just like Culling Sun this does seem like an attempt to ween people off of Wrath, which is not going to happen. |
