There are few cards in the current t2 card pool that have had such an effect on the environment as Umezawa's Jitte. Umezawa's Jitte is a near auto include in all creature based decks, for its ability to make your creatures stronger, make opponents weaker and gain life like no ones business; we all know this.

My question is: Will creature decks be better or worse off after it rotates out? of course some creature decks will be better off since you don’t have to worry about your creatures getting killed by it, but other decks will be weaker cause it will take away the ability to boost creatures size.

please keep in mind this is strictly from a creature based deck POV, of course control and combo decks will be better off without it floating around.

Actually as a control player I get weak when someone plays a Jitte about 90% of the time. Either they were going to win anyways or I will just slap Needle down, Fetters it, or Putrefy the thing all of which are hilarious. Also a Jitte can sit there unanswered as long as you kill the creatures they drop. I mean how many games have I won by my opponent topdecking a Jitte with one in play already and no creatures. Maybe Burn will finally be viable again though.

i've seen decks just get annihilated when jitte doesn't get the counters because of the tempo loss it causes in aggro on aggro. A majoirty of the deck at the pt were opting out of jitte for this reason. Plague rusalka, elder, electrolyze, helix, faiths fetters, etc. are all very strong cards that can potentially make jitte ineffective. I think the only deck that should still be running it is something like robbie cordells southeast regionals BW deck.

It's a tough question to answer. Jitte is very good in aggro "mirrors". It can single-handidly win a lot of games. It isn't any good at all against control or combo though. For that reason, I would say that aggro will be no better or worse without Jitte. The temptation to run it will be gone, which will improve control/combo matches, while Aggro-on-Aggro matches will no longer revolve around who draws/can deal with Jitte.

since jitte is good in aggro-mirrors and bad vs control/combo cuz it's not very fast, aggro decks will just lose a weapon that is good in the mirror, therefor technically, aggro will become more viable.
Of course, some other anti-aggro card will probabely replace it
note that both gruul and husk don't even run jitte, at least some versions don't, or in sb

Jitte is a crutch that people have been building decks around. It's just not a necessary card.

I think that you overlook the affect Jitte has on control matches in a lot of these arguments. Many control decks rely on damage as their way of dealing with creatures, and Jitte makes this a constantly losing battle for these decks. Also Jitte turns 1/1 creatures into 5/5 that trade with the dragons that many control decks rely on to win. I'm not sure what your metagame is, I just speak from my experience. For the most part control decks try to get to the late game where they are enevitably stronger, but Jitte lessens the gap between the late game power of control decks and aggro.

I don't know why people think jitte is BAD vs control decks it isnt as good vs them as it is vs aggro but adding an extra 4 damage a turn isnt that bad... Sure it's easy to kill but they are wasting those kill cards on it instead of a creature

Jitte is not good against control. It's just about awful. It isn't a threat on its own and it loses tempo. It is just worse than Moldervine Cloak against control or combo, and even Cloak isn't very good. You can't afford to pay 2 mana twice for no effect, and even when Jitte gets counters, you still need to be able to pay 2 again later when the creature its attached to dies.
