just wondering why doesnt ghost husk play CoC? i mean you can on turn 2 drop a creature and play CoC ready for the sac outlets, i think its good card advantage if your going to sacrifice the creature anyway, but thats my 2 cents, by all means play castigate aswell if needed.
what you guys think?

Cry of Contrition isn't very good. It's a weak discard spell that needs to be set up to provide card-advantage. Castigate (as well as Distress) is much better. You wouldn't run Wrench Mind over Duress, and there isn't room for both.

in ghost husk, its good card advantage as your gonna sacrfice the creature anyway.

also, who said instant speed discard wasnt good?
the haunt mechanic can be abused from this, aslong as you sacrifice that creature in thier draw step Wink

If your running white id say play castigate, it’s a much stronger card. Lets look at it this way: would you like to A) have them discard the worst card in their hand now and maybe discard the next worst card later OR B)have them remove from game their best card in their hand now?

also considering all the dredge and recursion spells around cards in graveyard isn’t even always a significant disadvantage.
