Heya, any suggestions on this nearly monoblack deck? Thinking of cutting some Sulfurous Springs for swamps, I dunno though. This is from memory, not at the deck right now, but this is pretty close.

4x Lyzolda
4x Hand of Cruelty
4x Rakdos Guildmage
4x Dark Confidant
4x Plagued Rsulka
3x Festering Goblin
3x Ravenous Rats

2x Consume Spirit
4x Rend Flesh
4x Umezawa's Jitte
2x Phyrexian Arena

1x Mountain
1x Rakdos Carnarium
4x Blood Crypt
4x Sulfurous Springs
12x swamp

SB:
4x Quicksand
4x Blood Moon
3x Nekrataal
4x Hearth Kami

Edit: any ideas on how to deal with Kokusho + Keiga with this deck?

Forgot I put Arena's in the most recent build.

-3 festering golbins, there has to be better 1 drops out there. scorched resulka and frenzied goblin to name a couple.
-2 arena you already have confidant, fill this slot with another threat.
if you like the card advantage theme go with hypnotic spector.

-2 consume spirit
- 4 rend flesh

+x last gasp
+x wreakingball

If your going to play removal atleast play good removal.

I think you'd be better off with more red cards. Hand and Arena are the only double-black cards, and Consume Spirit could be replaced by Demonfire (which is arguably better, anyway). I think you weakened the deck too much by trying to enable Consumes, which aren't even necessarily better than XR spells in this deck.

I think kokusho and keiga are the least of your worries.

Fair enough. Any suggestions as to what additional red would go well in here?

I don't particularly like scorched rsulka in here as this isn't really a to the dome deck.

If I see anything I just have to have instead of Arena, goblin or Rend Flesh, I'll probly switch to straight up Rakdos.

Thanks,

Alright then, what are my worries? I'd like you to point them out to me in order to become a better magic player.

Well, looks like anything with 3 or more toughness is going to give you a huge headache, which means gruul and zoo will basically roll over you while you trade 3 for 1 just to kill their creatures.

Your deck also basically requires you to overextend to cause any sort of threatening position, leaving you quite vulnerable to mass removal (and for your deck, pyroclasm is also mass removal). Considering most of your drawing engines are creature-based, this is a huge problem.

Basically, your deck completely falls apart without a jitte. That's a pretty bad plan.

Back to the drawing board.
