//NAME: Owling Mine by Spliff
SB: 2 Spell Snare
SB: 1 Eye of Nowhere
SB: 2 Evacuation
SB: 4 Blood Moon
SB: 3 Shattering Spree
SB: 3 Mana Leak
8 Island
3 Mountain
1 Minamo, School at Water's E
2 Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
4 Shivan Reef
4 Steam Vents
4 Ebony Owl Netsuke
4 Exhaustion
4 Remand
4 Pyroclasm
2 Sudden Impact
4 Boomerang
3 Eye of Nowhere
4 Vision Skeins
3 Kami of the Crescent Moon
4 Howling Mine
2 Spell Snare

Dissension Vision Skeins are a good match for Owling Mine, but it still isn't good enough to beat Aggro, I'd say.

OWling mine still doesnt Beat aggro, i played Owling Mine cause i was expecting all control since it was 1700+ trial, and only aggro higher rated players seem to play is B/w, so it was more a metagame call then anything

ok u might get extremely lucky wit it and get good matchups all day and top 8 like antoine ruel (which is highly unlikely) but eventually u will have to play agaisnt an aggro deck
AND U WILL LOSE over 50% of the meta is aggro

I did the same thing a few weeks ago, coming in 2nd with Owl (Wildfire and Pithing Needle in sb). I can't remember if it was 1700+, but it was definitely MWS, which removes alot of the m-l population. Owl IS playable, at the right times - i very nearly won a trial with it, but lost a very close game 2 and 3.

there are two things Mine can do against aggro

1 splash w for wrath, fetters, prison

or 2, gigadrowse + Exhaustion

actually my friend found out how to tune the deck so it has if not much at least a decent matchup against aggroo. I would say but I don;t want to give my friends deck away.

I can't really like any deck that loses to birds of paradise.
