| I'm going to stop this right now: no doubt, one way or the other, one person will go too far with this. If you want to reply to this post, don't go overboard. |

Person A: I'm not going to conform and join your dance team.
Person B & C: Yeah, Neither are we!
Person D: Oh yeah, I'm such a non-conformist that I'm not going to conform with you guys and join their dance team.
Person B: Wow, he is such a non-conformist.

Well this has a very obvious answer, its team "The Beggars". Look at out killer lineup: "The humble founder" Noremac, Pollo "The Mexican Prodigy" Haro "Um, Dogbert", Splunge "The points whore", and then finally K_Buriag "The European". That lineup includes two people with previous #1 team experience, me and K_Buriag, has Pollo who has top 8ed masters multiple times, and has Haro and Splunge, both solid players. On top of all this we each average 500-700+ points a reset.
Also, lets look at the team rankings as they stand when I post this:
1 The Beggars 441
Noremac, Pollo, K_Buriag, Dogbert, Splunge
2 The Mike Tyson Approach 433
_bouncyer_, eEnder, Circa, Stryfe-, Blake_C
3 screw the choker 226
indie, Neko1976, cjthedude, Tidus13, Custode
4 bardajeiros 165
ringman, Bardamerda, |kaoz|, Toshi, Hagar
5 My Rescue Action Heroes 162
GRAH, VacancyMan, Buffalo_Wing, Eliminator, loran16
As you can see, The Beggars and TMA are in a close competition with The Beggars in the lead. So they are the two contenders. Not to demean the rest, there are some solid teams there but nothing close enough to fight except for 3rd at the moment.
Points wise TMA and The Beggars are even, one big guy (Splunge and Bouncyer) have an above average guy (Stryfe and I) and the rest are good. Both have some veterans and new people. So whose better? A very good question.
I think The Beggars is it with the experience and skill to keep the #1 position as it holds now. Before the flame war starts I would like to say, all this is just talk, the only thing that counts is results, and we plan on continuing to give them! |
