|
|
I was thinking about creating a multiplayer deck using the March of the Machines and Mycosynth Lattice combo.
The colours i was considering it being were blue/black, but that can be changed.
There will need to be a good deal of draw, so maybe Thirst for Knowledge and brainstorm or serum visions so that i can get the combo as soon as possible.
Maybe also throw in Krark-Clan Ironworks, for what i don't know, but it could be fun when all your lands go.
Theres also Darksteel Brute and Darksteel Ingot for industructable creatues, and maybe pentad prism for mana faster.
Since this is for multiplayer, assuming 3 to 5 players, I thought Disciple of the Vault would be nice, since everyones lands will be dying, you might as well kill off a player while your at it.
I basically made this post so that I could get some ideas and feedback so I can make this deck good.
I know this deck so far isn't even close to being half completed, but thanks for looking at it and helping.
Thanks everyone. |

| Looks like fun. I would use Darksteel Pendant, too, and probably some more artifact mana. Sol Ring, Thran Dynamo, Voltaic Key... fun stuff. And I heard Obliterate combos pretty well with Indestructible guys. |

I was thinking about using obliterate too, but wouldn't it kill both march of the machines and mycosynth lattice (assuming both were in play).
Darksteel pendants good, and sol ring will make it so i can get the cards out faster and thran dynamo would make a good 4/4 mana producer.
Maybe use some urzas lands |

| obliterate won't hit enchantments at all, and if somehow you make the lattice indestructible... |

| I know, but mycosynth turns march, and everything else, into artifacts, and obliterate kills artifacts right? |

| Ive also had some suggestions for counterspells, mainly force of will, which would be good just incase someone had something i couldn't deal with before lattice and march dropped. |

If you have march and lattice in play, you shouldn't need to obliterate...
My build that I actually do have, is U/W
This is less than optimal, but I have all the cards.
4 fact or fiction
3 thirst for knowledge
4 darksteel brute
4 darksteel ingot
3 vedalken shackles
3 oblivion stone
3 march of the machine
3 ghostly prison
2 worship
2 mycosynth lattice
4 wrath of god
2 ivory mask
The deck is based more on preventing my death than comboing out, but brute + worship is very good in multiplayer, and shackles takes the best guy on the board.
Anyway, good luck. If you decide to go with obliterate, seething songs are a must, and wildfire can be very good as well, especially if people play tribal. |

Yeah, i think the obliterate combo is a bit over doing it.
I really like the ghostly prisons, worship, and ivory mask, and vedalken shackles works extreamly well for those just incase scenerios.
I just picked up 4 Solemn Simulacrums today, and i was thinking of putting those in.
Thanks for the input Afroking. |

I actually have 4 solemn simulacrum, and what I found them to do was clog up my mana, and not do much on defense, because multiplayer doesn't care if a person draws a card. If you want a 4 drop that is sick in multiplayer, silent arbiter is your best bet. |

After i did a little bit a playtesting, i noticed that too. The land that it brings does clog the pool, and on the defence, it was worthless, and the extra card was almost pointless due to the good draw i already had.
I forgot about silent arbiter, but that does seem like the way to go. 1/5 is great for defence, and its ability is phuenominal while waiting for the combo.
After you get the combo out and you need to attack with everyone, you could just sac silent arbiter Krark-Clan Ironworks. |

So all your permanents are artifacts, and so are your opponents. EVERYONE gets huge amounts of creatures...
Hm. Congregate?! |

Umm the combo is that all the lands die, and you probably wrathed the turn before. Therefore you're left with indestructible, a 4/4 and a 6/6. Obviously they're non creature, non land pernamaents become guys, but if you have more than one indistructible it really won't matter most of the time.
That being said, if I combo out in multi-player, everyone basically scoops. |
