Mirrodin is the most broken set. Ravenger and skull clamp, ironworks, Tooth and Nail all broke the T2 format

Right... that's why Urza's block had insane anti-artifact cards. So gg affinity =/.

The best way to tell wheather or not a set is broken, is to play it in Limited. And let me tell you...I've played all of these in limited. The Saga pre-release was absoloutly shit-nuts crazy. Saga wins this vote by a landslide. No contest.

Which is why your answer is wrong. In terms of brokenness, saga offered easy turn 1 and 2 wins (you would have to have an extremely lucky ironworks hand for that), it had a lot more cards banned in both t2 and extended, and the bannings were the result of an emergency ban, not the standard announcement. And BTW, skullclamp wasn't until Darksteel

-----

On another note, if this topic is meant to be a serious poll, how is mirrodin missing? I could also see how other sets (tempest, the other urzas, etc) might be seen is some people's eyes as more broken. This poll is inheirently flawed, and useless. But I won't lock this because I hope it'll come to an end by itself.

these are all the urzas block cards restricted in T1:
Crop Rotation
Frantic Search
Grim Monolith
Memory Jar
Time Spiral
Tinker
Tolarian Academy
Voltaic Key
Windfall
Yawgmoth’s Bargain
Yawgmoth’s Will

the most powerful ones (academy and will) are from saga =/

mirrodin has these restricted in T1:
Chrome Mox
Trinisphere

now tell me what block is better?

there are also other cards from urza that were restricted/banned which aren't any more. And there are also cards restricted in the past and presently simply because of there interacton with the urza restricted cards. Most notable Burning Wish for its ability to fetch Will, and Mind Over Matter (soon to be unrestricted) because of it's ability to untap Academy.

The reason you don't see any Urza Block decks is that all the cards that make them work are banned or restricted:
Grim Monolith + Covetous Dragon
Tinker + Memory Jar
Those are just the ones I can call off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more. Memory Jar is one of the ones that got emergency banned. The poll was which set was more Broken. Urza's Saga was absoloutly, without a doubt, b-r-o-k-e-n. Mirrodin...not so much.

A better poll could include all 10 blocks, asking which block is the most broken.

Saga, anyway.
